KillFrenzy Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Which version do you think is better? 1.1 for its features 1.0 because there are less lockups? I think v1.1 locks up too much, a lot of people are having problems, so is it worth it to stay with v1.0 until they fix v1.1
Leviathan Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 crashes aren't fun and It lookt like I've got more framedrop on 1.1 than on 1.0
KillFrenzy Posted March 18, 2006 Author Posted March 18, 2006 Yeah, and it always lag more and I always have a higher ping in v1.1. I think I should uninstall v1.1 and stick with v1.0
KillFrenzy Posted March 18, 2006 Author Posted March 18, 2006 (edited) WTF, MTA 1.1 completly screwed up my MTA. MTA v1.0 used to work very well, without crashes. When I uninstalled v1.1, and installed v1.0, v1.0 actually got screwed up too, it kept locking up, so its messing with my system. System restore kinda screwed my sysem up so I reversed its changes. The MTA Team better fix up my system or I can never play MTA again. I don't know what the hell MTA v1.1 has done to my computer. EDIT: I've even tried reinstalling GTA SA, then installing MTA SA v1.0. The MTA Team should of really tested this MTA v1.1. It's always crashing and corrupts the previous v1.0 somehow when I reinstalled it. Edited March 18, 2006 by Guest
DEVIL-gtamp.net Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 well my members have sorted the problems out and it runs gr8 for them now check there post here http://www.gtamp.net/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=27&page=viewtopic&t=95
KillFrenzy Posted March 18, 2006 Author Posted March 18, 2006 When I just got v1.1, it didn't crash at all, after playing for a while, MTA always screws up in 10 seconds even in the browser window. So I think a fresh install might do the same, works for a while, the later, crash in 10 seconds all the time.
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted March 18, 2006 MTA Team Posted March 18, 2006 May i remind people that MTA is product that is still in development and is being developed in peoples spare time. We try to do our best but sometimes things go wrong. Most problems get reported pretty quickly and we are always improving our error reporting systems to solve bugs faster. Most problems in the current 1.10 will be adressed in the (near) future.
KillFrenzy Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 I just found MTA v1.1.1. I'll go check that out too, and if it works, thank you MTA Team!
KillFrenzy Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 (edited) Looks like MTA v1.1.1 doesn't do anything to fix up my game crashes. EDIT: Just to let you know, here is my system ASUS P5WD2 Motherboard 1 GB DDR533 RAM (2x 512MB Samsung) Geforce 6600 GT GFX Card Intel Pentium 4 3 Ghz 160 GB Samsung SATA Hard Drive GIGABYTE DVD Reader GIGABYTE DVD Burner Windows XP Professional SP2 That should be enough to sort out problems, and yes I've got the latest drivers. No crashes ever occured in MTA v1.0 that did in v1.1 and v1.1.1. Edited March 28, 2006 by Guest
NapsK Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I didnt have any problems with 1.0, so I'll choose for that 1 I guess..
CoZ Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 (edited) im glad the map bug is partially (on server, not yet on client) fixed .. but i seriously hate the lack of alt-tab .. since i need to alt-tab occasionally overall .. well .. lets just keep up the good work and it will be a great mod Edited March 19, 2006 by Guest
Jani Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I don't think this is the correct section for this topic, it's hardly a "client problem" is it?
CoZ Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 ok edited some spawnpoints make you crash in ground /get stuck in bridges / get stuck in ramps/ get stuck on top of loopings .. when before it went well sometimes one or two playes have the start -- gogogo -- countdown , but can drive happened to myself about three times now ..
Battlefan Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I think 1.1.1 is better. When 1.1.1 wasn't out, I prefered 1.0 because 1.1 locked me up all the time. But with 1.1.1 all the problems are gone
KillFrenzy Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 I don't think this is the correct section for this topic, it's hardly a "client problem" is it? Sorry, its my first time posting a topic.
KillFrenzy Posted March 25, 2006 Author Posted March 25, 2006 Sorry about all this MTA Team but I just found out that my graphic card was half melted and therefore unstable in all games. I never realized this until it got worse and that I reinstalled windoews xp. It is now under warranty and would take 3 weeks for them to return it, so no MTA till then. Im using one of my other computers but they arent powerful enough to play MTA.
