What version of MTA are you using if it's 0.4 then you should use MTAMA 3.

Yes you can host your server which has been stated in many other threads. Basically if you have it open the Server config tool or if not open the serverconfig.cfg with notepad or something and edit the parts that don't have # next to them. Then save that file once you've finished and open MTAServer.exe, then you have it. If you want admin just open the admin panel and type the ip of your computer, then the port you set admin ort to be, then the password you set. Hope it works

lol it takes quite long through MSN. Feej sent it me when he wanted me to host it but i had to go off the net for a whiulke due to moving house. It takes about 2 hours on 576KBPS.

before you type /mta you have to type //load -rs mta.mrc so it loads all the files required for MTA:mA hope that sorts it.

I prefer phpbb, it's easier to use it's simple and if any errors popup they're easy to fix. I also like invisionboards but i prefer phpbb myself

Harry m8 ive been away for 3 weeks so i didnt know about mtama 3 til a couple of days ago. Plus i lost a bit of my knowledge of scriptingwhile i was away coz i formatted my comp and had no scripts.

1.5 ghz is ok, but 2mb of RAM is too slow, i have 256MB which isnt good but it runs quite ok for me. Im getting 1 gig soon. So i advise you get more RAM better connection and better processor. Or just buy a server/
