that's pretty much what they're doing no, voice chat wouldn't really lag things up... it uses a very small amount of bandwith. less than 1k/s.

well, other people've had this problem... sort of. same problem, except on the internet, not a LAN. Check to see if you're still connected... see if the upload/download rate is frozen. if it is, disconnect, reconnect. If that doesn't work, then you might want to try re-installing GTA3 and MTA. Finally, if you're desperate to play, and are running win 98/ME, then install a different OS (like win XP). Although, this problem should be fixed in the next versions, so I wouldn't go through installing a new OS just to play...

dedicated server is the only kind as of yet. yes, you can join your own dedicated server, from the same machine. error 10047.. address family is not supported... that's a tough one. No one really is certain of a fix, although there are a few people who say constantly reconnecting works Try re-installing GTA3, and MTA. It's possible it has something to do with using win 98/ME... the only thing there would be to install a different OS, but I wouldn't bother unless you REALLY want to play this (and right now, it's not really worth installing a new OS). nonono... in the options menu, when you change the resolution, make sure you hit ENTER, otherwise it wont save the changes... If you move your mouse over the resolution option, a little tooltip will be there, and that'll tell you what to do as well

well, there are 2 versions: the regular gta world, and the online one. the online one just has MTA built into it.

you need all 100 packages to get the heli. (or use a cheat to get 'em )

well, just by keeping people posted of the devopment and new features of mods would be more than enough. I'd probably visit it every day, to check for the development of the mods, and see any features

I think I just found out why the BLAST thread has been getting so few posts lately.

cash is disabled in 0.3, but some people get it by mistake. only the uzi is avaliable, with 999 bullets. you get it when you spawn.

the last one's a cool logo, but it doesn't really have much to do with MP...

looks pretty good... but you need something that sets it apart from all the other sites... right now it's a generic GTA3 site. Hopefully you'll be able to think something up. Otherwise, looks good.
