As far as I know, they're mainly porting GTA3: MTA, over to VC: MTA. Except they're adding in some new stuff.

well, GTA2 only had to send X and Y.... this has to send X, Y, and Z. also, if the ped is in a car, X, Y, Z, rotation X, rotation Z, rotation Y, and speed.

well, i found your problem get rid of mta.exe from C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3 you put the installer in there by mistake It's a bit confusing, since the installer has the same name as the program... just remove mta.exe from there, and run it from say... your desktop. should work now.

no real solution yet. some people say it has to do with using win 98/ME, and others have had luck with re-installing MTA and GTA3.

mta.exe should be in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3\mta.exe

hmm... try running mta.exe, instead of starting it with launcher.exe.

not sure... probably means that it's waiting for game/connection requests from other machines.

well, you have to remember that some people have already finished all (or almost all) their work on MTA 0.35, so they're just screwing around with little projects.
