lowering your FPS won't increase your resolution, but it will help make things look better, and clearer, because the computer doesn't have to work so hard wait a tic... OMG. Lower the bits per second setting!!!!!! that is an incredibly, incredibly high setting... I mean, 1400 kilobits per second is a little above average...

hmm... who was it who tried doing that? I still wonder what he tried doing... did he burn a CD with MTA on it and put it in his PS2? or did he use his PS2 disk in the PC? Or did he just give up?... hmm...

don't get lippy Lorlock a GUI is a graphical user interface. basically means that instead of having to type things (like 'connect <125.75.436.314>' and 'say: "hi guys!"') to do stuff, you can just hit little buttons, and use a mouse, and have purdy little pictures. hmm... no little popup thingy.... Just open up C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3\mta.exe while the credits are rolling that should do the trick

*sigh*... if no new chat system is created, and roger wilco or teamspeak becomes what you have to use if you want to chat in-game, then most people won't be bothered to install/use it. it is not at all a useless idea.

well, might be... I'm using a router without problems though, so... The best explanation I've heard so far, is that as soon as a person joins a game, they get disconnected, so they can only play for about 2 seconds. Some people say it's the OS, others say firewall/router, and others say GTA3.

*sigh*... warlord, must we keep you on a leash so you don't attack n00bs? you need to get All Seeing Eye (ASE) from http://www.udpsoft.com/eye install it, and once you've run it, go: View -> Options -> Games (it's a tab) select GTA3:MTA, hit browse... and find mta.exe in your GTA3 folder if you need more help, use the search feature of the forums, up in the top right of your screen, and search for 'ASE' (or All Seeing Eye), as this topic is sure to be locked very soon

um... you do realise that that thing was updated a year and a half ago.. right? everything they're talking about there has already been done (main.scm editors), or figured out (how missions and GTA3 works)
