um... mta has an installer... it shouldn't be a zip file try changing the file name to mta_installer.exe (or any_random_name_here.exe)

well, that wouldn't make a difference, would it? Since a request is sent to the master server for all MTA 0.3b games, no matter what the .exe is...

ya, you can play on warez... (I think that's what you're asking). just be very hush-hush about it, or someone will eat you for such "illegal" activity

hmm.. well, when I try and connect to a fake IP, it doesn't give me the error, so I'm not sure if the router thing is the problem... I mean, if someone gave out the wrong IP by mistake, and I tried to connect to it, it would be the same as putting in a fake IP, wouldn't it?
