nope you can find SOME servers on IRC.... irc.multitheftauto.com #mta-servers But ASE is definitely the best/only way to go

you may be trying to run MTA:VC by mistake Emperor Bohe... Make sure you've got the version you want, and make sure that if it IS MTA:VC you're using, that you check out the MTA:VC first time user guide @ http://www.mtavc.com/sbs.php

The bandwith usage is too great, and there are other constraints. (ie: only a certain number of peds can be kept track of at a time... so it'd be like 50 peds on 2 islands.)

I remember someone saying something about bandwith usage... Releasing a new slightly updated version every few weeks would be hell for servers, and it would greatly increase traffic...

Like kent said, this isn't an MMO, so those ideas don't really fit in all that well

alright, lemme say that I love video games, GTA3, VC, CS, NetHack, etc. But you can't really admit that video games have absolutely NO effect on people! Sure, people have to be rather crazy to do something like that, but still, it's not like video games do nothing (it may be a small thing they do, but it is still something). My 2 cents.

Ya, sometimes it's a bug (they think the chopper is sitting on the ground, when you're really flying it), and sometimes it's an idiot with a trainer.
