Hmm - that's a point. When I spawn at the airport and find the Stinger gone, I mostly can't be bothered to leave in any other vehicle. I know that a lot of people do the same. If the MTA are concerned about spawn wars, why not at least give people who don't want to participate a proper alternative. If you take one of those other cars during a spawn war, you're bound to be set on fire before you're out of there.

I don't get why I'm getting this response to a simple question If you don't want to tell me the font or don't know what it is, just say that. The reason I want the font is so that I can have a 'clean' image where the text blends with the background perfectly.

That thread was locked so I couldn't ask my question in there. This thread was the next best thing. I would still like to know the font. As you can see I've done my own version of the image, and I'd like to use the same font for that part. At the moment I'm using Trebuchet, which is the nearest I've got.

There's a news topic, but this one could be for speculation/thoughts on the teaser. So far, I've noticed a couple of things. 1. They've got fairly far - there's in-game chat in the boats bit (Cray saying hi). 2. The medium option in the server list could be for internet/network. If so, meaning they've optimised it separately for both. 3. There may be more specialised modes (MrBump's stunthouse). 4. A lot more skins. Maybe new careers?

NO, you didn't Well... if that's your complaint, please give a detailed description of the problem (plus your system specs) so that they can fix it. How are they supposed to sort problems out if you don't say what they are? I get a problem with the same amount of crashes as before. I've posted an explanation but I've had no reply from the MTA team.

Core in the general sense means the centre or unchanging part of something. In the case of MTA it refers to some code which does all the 'dirty work' which is used to build on top of to create the versions that are released. MTA 0.4 uses the same core as MTA:VC 0.3.

I tried that with 0.4.0 and it did nothing for me, so I stopped using it. Maybe I'll see if it works with this version.

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to the MTA team for eliminating the bandwidth problem in this version - I have better frame rates now and don't lag more than I used to And I don't like to complain, so I'm trying to post this as an informative bug report. ----------------------- BUG I'm having about the same number of crashes as I did in 0.4.0, but mainly in different places. Sometimes it's while I'm driving in a car (not making any sudden turns), sometimes when I'm on foot, and a couple have been at the end of the new loading time before spawning. I thought the loading time one may have been related to the re-spawn problem from 0.4.0, but one of the crashes happened on a first spawning after the game was loaded. I can supply my computer specs, although I seem to recall I sent them to MrBump regarding the bandwidth problem. ----------------------- I hope you guys actually get time to play this thing

Do you not have this problem then? I've found VC unplayable now and it seems server hosts are sending letters of concern. The quicker the bandwidth problem is addressed - the less likely it will be that the hosts up the prices

It seems that everwhere there is a garage with a closable door is now a pay 'n' spray, so it's very useful to know which is the nearest.

I do believe that it's generally accepted that your base must be accessible by foot. I've had a look round here and there doesn't seem to be an entrance for pedestrians - please correct me if I'm wrong.

Why is that? In the single player game there are subtitles in widescreen mode, surely they could utilise that?

Not all of them - there's still 2 cars in the Blood Ring - can't remember what they're called.

Also missing are: The Maroon Banshee on the main road halfway between Malibu and North Point Mall. The vehicles inside the stadium.

Surely 'the way it is' includes the Spas and Flamethrower? So why don't you use them? The sad fact is that you're addicted to helikilling. You probably see it as a way cut down the number of people you actually have to fight.
