  1. I saw you on the FMJ server yesterday - was it on there?
  2. It doesn't have a loadable interior - it is loaded with the rest of the map, it's just that it has a warp point.
  3. Jumped at the chance of using the Army Base more like.
  4. Wait for the beta v2 release actually, it's the gamma release, not betav2 (yes i check gtaf) Yes, I know that - I do check them more than once a day. I said beta v2 for a few reasons: - Most people won't understand what a 'gamma' is - There is discussion about calling the released version beta v2 any way - So that someone who thinks they know what they're talking about would correct me If you check the GTAForums you should know that I know a little about the project. BTW In case you're still not paying attention - dominionspy = [FMJ]DomSpy.
  5. He didn't state that at all. Actually I did maan that. I am talking about people who aren't on the mta team and being beta testers for 0.4.5. But we would need people who the mta team can trust be cause some people just can't keep a secret. Playstation.com gives people a penalty for people who tell all over the internet about some information you are not supposed to know if you are not a tester. If this were to happen we would need a penalty like being banned from anything that has to do with mta. That maybe a little extreme for MTA. It's not like the developers are a big commercial company. Actually I don't know why there is all this secrecy with MTA - surely this is being made for the community? If not us, then who? @ JonChappell: common sense isn't that common, as you have just proved for us.
  6. Well I guess someone will create an add-on so that you can play MTA Blue with the GTA: Liberty City mod for Vice City.
  7. That would be hilarious - having radio fights... just like in real life
  8. hmm yeah is that sUK? Maybe we should shut that down officially rofl, he means GL Laugh all you want - because you're wrong. Must be all that weed messing with your brain cells. Let's analyse the post, shall we? Okay - let's see that list: Next part: Hmm, I wonder what "1 of em" refers to? Could it be one of the allies (the only other thing he mentions)? Well, which one of those is he talking about? VCES Vice City Emergency Services - Still exists UVA Ultimate Vice Assassins - Still exists sUK Stuntmen UK - Oli's and my stunting clan which has not been active since March of this year Oh, it's such a difficult choice
  9. hmm yeah is that sUK? Maybe we should shut that down officially
  10. I'm sorry, but eAi is only three letters and he has it at the end of EVERY post. It's not like it's hard to spell. Can't you just take a little more notice? Any way - Vice City has much more stuff in it than GTA III (Bikes, Helicopters, Sea Plane, More Weapons and Cars, and more) but people are still playing GTA III muli- and single-player. I would bet (with real money) that people will still be playing GTA III and Vice City multiplayer when San Andreas has a multiplayer mod.
  11. That's the worst pause ever. I'm in a fight and I'm about to be killed. Hmm - let's pause and it'll kill me without costing a frag
  12. VCN was the first thing I wanted back (within a minute of playing 0.4.0). Firetruck was the second. I'd say at least 150. With the fact that hardly any people go mexican and there's no M60 pickup, he needs more.
  13. There is a problem with that. The ingame and outgame players are worked out from their chat box messages. ie if a player is in game but has not typed anything, the script would count them as outgame. Conversely if someone has been ingame, typed and the come out of game, but not typed anything, they are counted as ingame. I think Oli was/is working on a better ingame/outgame detector, but I don't know how that's coming along.
  14. I had a go at him as well. One second we're both there waiting for Jani to come down off a roof, the next second Jani drops down and chode had vamosed. BTW Jani you had horrible lag in that.
  15. Exclusive contract with Sony, maybe? Go DomSpy, go DomSpy. If you have to churn out three games for a console, you're not going to be thinking about many extra features for your conversion to another platform. Since the next GTA will undoubtedly be for PS3 and/or PC, both of which (will) have more support for online play, we may see return to a multiplayer mode. It certainly does look like they are experimenting with different ideas with the two-player missions in SA.
  16. The only sensible reply. What is wrong with you people? Well let's say that you also have a badge on saying that you work at a well known bank. That would certainly explain why people are asking you (just think Bank Employee = MTA Team Member). Would I get annoyed? Well of course I would. But would I show it? Of course not. That's just not how you deal with people asking an innocent question.
  17. Because they've forgotten what it's like to be a newbie and/or out of the loop. Well that's a stupid reason for not liking people asking for the release date. If someone asks me where the nearest cash machine is and I don't know, guess what I say - "I don't know" - I don't bite their head off just because some other people have asked me previously. How were they supposed to know? But this is what happens to new people around here and they're just interested in the project (poor newbies).
  18. I always feel that people forget about GTA1 and 2 when they talk about R* and their multiplayer views. The multiplayer modes on those are not merely afterthoughts - they have been well integrated with the game. Oh and they just happen to be deathmatch style with not much "point" except getting the most frags. The multiplayer aspect of GTA2 is what got me hooked on the GTA series (before that I only played strategy/god games) and it's the most fun I've ever had on a multiplayer game. So don't just go around saying R* wouldn't do this or they wouldn't do that because they already have.
  19. Because they've forgotten what it's like to be a newbie and/or out of the loop.
  20. MTA 0.4.1 (the latest release) had a built-in GTA3 mode - download and enjoy.
  21. I have already thought about how to do this and I think I've come up with an idea, but I'm going to keep it under my hat
  22. Yeah, it's a pity that you can only attach mines to cars in GTA3 and VC. I had great fun with machine gun cars in GTA2 (I think they had infinite ammo too). Can anyone say drive-bys? They didn't have that in GTA2 The oil would be fun to have back though. In fact I still think GTA2 has the best multiplayer gameplay (and it's purely deathmatch/manhunt).
