verizon says the same for me, my server probably does near a gig upload a month, and who knows what amount i dl every month lmfao...i seem to fill my network with crap every 2 weeks

well, no doubt someone is playing mta 24/7 but it's obvious attendance goes way down during the US night hours, and holidays. So that has it's own drawbacks

Yeah, I'm on a similar connection unlimited, but when we were limited we could release and renew our ip and it would refresh our bandwidth lmao, this was years ago tho, 5 bucks a month is totally worth an unlimited acct...especially when you host your own...erm...shady server

Until the swanky new core comes out which will hopefully put a better strangle hold on cheaters, the basic rule is that if you can't stand the cheaters, just find a new server. There is always at least 3 good servers at anytime, typically if one has a bunch of cheaters the other two servers will have little or none. Don't even bother bitching to the cheater, they get off on it. Just take their name down and send it off to the server admin or owner.

perhaps you should run a speed test on your network. Also, i've seen people try to lan via internet sharing...and it almost always sucks ass. So if you have a router, how old is it, maybe it's time for a replacement, if you don't have one, get one

it's very possible, probably because it reports your wan ip, and you can't connect to your wan from a computer under it, found this with my webserver

well, if it's an advanced skin like some of the winamp3 ones, a team isn't necessary, but to get it done in a reaonable time it helps. altho, i don't know if 5 even supports the more advanced skins anymore, heven't really used it (can't stand losing my little search box in the playlist).

well...technically i think it only transmits the x/y/z coords of a person, they'd probably be sitting in the normal place, just sticking out of the vehicle if it isn't tall/wide enough to accomidate the player....or it could crash the game horribly...ya know.

hmm, seeing as most of my life is computers, if i'm not on mta, i'm on a computer...or at college...hmm...extended bouts on Guilty gear xx reloaded or melty blood with friends possibly...hmm not much diff than most people.

sometimes a controller can cause this. I use a ps2 to usb controller converter for some games, but on vice it causes the char to run backwards and rotate left nonstop. So try unplugging any extra control devices and see if that helps any

Twice now i've been in a server that was flooded, but thats not what this is completely about, after it floods and crashes, it seems as tho my keyboard is either locked in the game, or in the crashed client, it ends out that i have to reboot to type into anything. I have decent tech knowledge, and can't seem to find any plausible conclusion other than this. Is there perhaps a known bug that the mta team might be working on, or is this just an isolated happening?
