seems to me in theory: car sits slightly left to npc, npc adjusts to go right around the car, radjusts once past car, as in game, every players game has the same AI in practice: car doesn't exist due to lag, car is stuck in ground due to lag, car blows up on one screen and not another, npcs will act differently based upon something like that. I see at least some reasons why you say mostly, seems like it'd have to wait for the more efficient new netcode y'all are working on.

Ran across a few more myself, A group "VcG' was using their own custom map, when I explained to the others in the game why it was cheating, one member informed me to "stfu about other peoples business" when I replied he said "don't talk to VcG unless you are VcG" lol. As well russian_dude cheats sometimes and not others, has a foul temper, as well has his "russian friends" running enough trainers to crash everyone in a server.

In a less fortunate (tech wise) school I went to for summer school (yay for graduating early), the people didn't protect their server internally, it was as easy as emptying filter.php lmfao Alternatively if you run a webserver, setup a web proxy, and you can surf via the servers bandwidth, we set a bunch up, theyd block it, we'd make a new url, kind of a pain, but hey, all for being a rebel ya know lol.

I use a ps2 converter for a bunch of games, but MTA/VC is not one of them, problem is the aiming...it sucks...big time, on the console it has auto-lockon for a reason lol.

I almost always use the crusader myself, but then i prefer running weapons, which is kind of what balances them vs others, if you kind of jab and move, jab and move you can be pretty successful, whereas mexicans have to stand still to use their more deadly weapons my input atleast

As harsh as it sounds I'd have to agree with that. Personally I see all this modding and cheating the same as destroying a persons painting they worked so hard on. I live to die, and die to live so to speak, without the dieing part, I fail to see how it's even worth your time to play, but maybe I don't think obstractly enough. But I say THANK YOU for bringing to reality one of the most potent wishes gaming has ever seen.

I understand this is a smaller mod, and has more of a community feel than say a big one.But look at servers for like CS or even ut2k3, there are hundreds upon hundreds of servers, whereas we have but a few popular ones. So far as i've always seen the bulk of traffic is already on the official servers, then to a lesser extanet robpols, and the fastest dm/sm servers. Even if the admin did nothing but insult me as I played, I'd probably still return to the official servers lol. Anyhoot, i guess my point is, if YOU are running a server, then advertise friendly admins 24/7, otherwise I think the main ones are plenty popular. And as for service, well, bite a bullet and take it like a man, don't want to play with cheaters, quit, or jump servers :\

It happens, don't fret over it, I was banned from one smalll server, because the admin wanted me to "fix my ping"...which...makes absolutely no sense lol. Fact is, if if have access to the official servers, and robpol's server, you should have plenty of fun heh

Yes, well what is flawed to one makes sense to many more. This is their work, and they don't want to see it butchered, I'm sure i wouldn't if i were on such a dev team.

simple solution is to uninstall/reinstall i would suppose. Sometimes this happens when you add a mod to the .dats and not to the archive files with the img tools. A clean install should help, if not, it must be a hardware issue.

colors don't really mean a whole lot, in fact i think mine showed colors the first time i played, and never after that. the point is tho it's a giant world of sickos out there, just because someone is a cop,and you are a cop, well, if you stand still too long you won't be standing much longer if you get my drift hehe as for yellow, ALL of my blips show up yellow, guess it's just something with the client, a default color, i unno

since the released the new mta (0.3) the official servers run .3, you have to have .3, older servers who have not updated run .2.2, u need .2.2 to run on those, but at the rate they are updating, just go with .3

i've seen that too, also at least for me, the back wheel bug is still there, not like it's a big deal, i just noticed they took time to mention it, perhaps it's just my install ::shrug::

if you notice they have a shotty, keep away, about 2 car lengths is the absolute max of the shotguns, i run, turn around and launch a molotov down their throats hehe as they run to get out of the fire you can use almost any guns, it's all about tactics, you have much to learn young padawan ;x

huh, I haven't crashed once in the past 10 hours of gameplay, and the new version really seemed to put a temp cap on cheaters, yay for no cheaters

those files should be readily available from your windows cd, infact they should technically already be on your harddrive considering nt systems load them by default :\

yeah one person didn't understand why speed hacks were cheating, well, when you run somone over at 300mph, and kill them, thats pretty much cheating. people don't see why getting to the vhar select. screen is cheating, well, when you are near dead adn you run up there like a coward til your pursuers get bored and leave, it's cheating. In my eyes, if you can't get it/go there/do that/with a clean install, it's cheating.
