Okay, well then its def. a development project im looking to request. Still, though, it could be every server keeping it's own records, theres no need for a master server. Any extra ban checks is better than the silly IP ban right now. -
pc is the best technology we have as humans right now in imo. Hell, consoles are born and live through pc work.

I can see that being abused though... I don't know how to regulate that. I think best is to just do 5 second tries or whatever like it used to be.

Cheat detection? Well thats another issue. This is just about banning people and keeping them banned. If you mean ban lengths, it would be whatever a certain server chooses my modifying it. It could be a day, week, month, year, whatever. Rest assured though, partyserver hardly perm. bans anybody as has official, so I think it won't go over a week tops. -

Well IJs, if you guys actually get something worked out, since you guys are planning for the days you are gone, could you just design it so that each server has its own login system with 24 hour wait or whatever they set it at (many do to keep stats already ex: party server) and its own ban list for whatever you decide will be logged for banning? Thats why I was looking towards MTA:MA as a simple way of handling this without inventing something major in the client/server and having a massive data logging server, but I don't know much about MTA:MA and I don't even know if it can retrieve all that info for a ban. -
Also like that gtaforums example, sometimes it just depends on where you live and if your connection is coming through easily.

Well thank lord, I had to tap a few high shoulders when I heard this -I'm not telling how I glitch- shit, if thats true, then yes, you are public enemy #1 not to Deathb, not to any gang member, but to the MTA team. So please do tell them everything you know ffs because they aren't going to tell anybody else obviously. PS I didn't lock this, but I think now is a very appropriate time now that they've taken notice anyways. -

I always have a good game until lots of pros come in, then it seems I can hardly kill them. I usually just leave the massive pro wars nowadays because theres so many chances/ways of exploiters. I weigh the options, use my name and attract attention or just use an alias, but unlike the other old timers I just don't feel like I should have to. Even though people usually want to get a rise out of me. I must say grenade glitching is the lamest of lame, but there are other ones that are that lame I'm sure. -
These boards may be messed up sometimes and admittingly they are somewhat right now, but slowness is usually just due to the server, but we have had bugs causing huge problems, so one might still be affecting the speed now. However, for me, its working fast enough.

Well that is if the lag isn't horrible. Thats the thing that really makes me hate stubby, it may be the best lag defense, but its also a laggers best friend. If you can't hit the guy and hes shooting all around you with a stubby, 5 shot spread, and you fall down when you're hit... you can usually count on: A. Dying B. running away C. Long drawn out battle where you might win

Lots of vets say "Yea too bad go play somethin else" whereas the fairly newer people say "Stubby is getting lame", but I agree now, stubby is absolutely dominant and it is getting very lame to me after what? A year or two? I'm ready for a change. What sucks the most is that you can be shot by a stubby, even from quite a distance and not notice, and then you are most likely going to die as soon as you get up. So its like you might do really well then all the sudden you get shot by a stubby and you got basically no chance after that assuming MTA is working properly when you get up. So I guess I just hope for a damage reduction, so it at least takes 3 shots to kill somebody (unless you get the 1 hit kill type, setting it back to 2 shots sometimes). I'm also getting tired of people saying "MTA:Blue will fix everything", don't put all your apples in one basket, you don't know how its going to turn out or more importantly WHEN its going to turn out.
