Oh I know the feeling.. I installed games n stuff in a computer lab noones usually in.. CD ROM games.. then faked study hall passes and went to play them I moved for a year and the other school.. they were a much larger school that were always using everything. I had a hard time even posting here. Damn teacher would keep using this thing on his computer to view our screens and he could control them. It was funny I saw a buncha screens on his monitor (that program), so I opened paint and filled the screen red, sure enough about 5 seconds later the screen refreshes.. I see mine, a big red blob I came back to my old school for senior year and.. well now I actually do good in school so I'm in some Honorary Independent Time, basically study hall without teachers. Bad idea, we always mess around. But I'm not takin a chance playing games this year, I almost got caught when a teacher finally asked why I was in there, after 1 year of fake pass signing (man who can stand sitting in a study hall chair for 69 minutes doing nothing? SCREW THAT!). I loved it.. our school switched from semisters to trimesters, meaning 5 classes a day instead of 7. So instead of 1/7 of my day, it was 1/5. I liked to think of it as computer game hour Brushed up on my Red Alert 2 skills alot

Thanks for reminding me about that.. I wonder if they will ever finish it. Looks amazing. /me notes it for free time.. maybe Spring Break Sloth, is it really nicely modded? I know the whole community works together on it, it must be really nice. Wish I had sometime to play it now.

In all honestly Jani, MTA team hardly ever deletes posts unless theres no mods around to do it or its just flat out flame/ban material. I did not myself... I usually leave things alone unless its just a flat out flame, if someone posts something stupid, its better to leave them looking stupid.

hmm.. are you installing mta/gtavc to the default folders? Thats the easiest way to avoid stupid mistakes. Make sure MTA is pointing to GTA directories

Ugh I hate it when that first came out and when people knew you were playing MTA they would just chat something to you like "trainer" and you would get booted to desktop. DeathB did it to me, pissed me off.

Wow I feel noobish but I never even thought about the enforcer trick for MTA... only works once per enforcer though right? Sailor has a dirty trick like this also... go north and get a cop shotty from Cherry Poppers. Knock someone down, then toss a few grenades and step back for victory.

Well that is one thing I didnt hear much prasie towards, but yes the spawn delay is gone and good riddance.

It also should be mentioned the more stuff ingame the more stuff your pc has to deal with, so if you try to make some gigantic amount of cars but the user doesn't have the greatest computer in the world... he might get some choppy gameplay, which can be as bad as lag. It would be hard to shoot people that are having problems with an overloaded computer.

Well GTA3 started with a moderation of the "admin console" thing someone made. GTAVC, they started making it themselves. I don't know what other tools were used besides a tool to view the SCM obviously. Just a team with a broad range of knowledge of coding and networking to make a great game

From the log it looks like someone gave him halfop for a second (I've seen this happen on several occasions). I just stay away from that stuff because this happens all to often. I didn't like when people were 'playing' with me either back in the day.

Cute idea.. but thats kinda big to put in right now. I mean you could just post a message on these forums about playing the game and posting your high score I dunno...

Not unless lag is greatly reduced, its hard enough as is to hit some people that constantly run. I don't know how the whole BLUE thing will work out for modders paying for servers, because wouldn't they have to have the people they are paying update the files? I don't think they'd go about it all the time and people need to experiment.

But.. does GTA3/VC?

Well thats like the #1 cause... you should try uninstalling GTAVC. Sorry I don't know much about the new server history thing and such, but it could be a bug in that. I'm not sure if this still happens but theres a file in c:/ thats usually not uninstalled with mta. Get rid of any files with "mta" (1 or 2) in c:/ You may also want to do a control+F find in regedit (goto by typing in "regedit" in run). If you don't know how to use this you probably shouldn't try. But if nothing else is working, do that, bring up the find box, and type in MTA. See if you get anything. If you do post again. Just do not attempt to change anything if you don't know how to use it because you can render programs unusable or do worse damage to your computer.
