Ya know madboy, I've almost 100% 'ed the game right now and I still haven't had the mood to listen to the radio show. I've NEVER tuned into it. I suppose I should listen sometime, maybe even when I'm doin somethin else lol

Nah, he has no dialogue in GTA3. I don't think its an inherited thing, some poeple are just the silent type.

I'm amazed they still have the will to go on, mta has become a monopoly, I would feel like I'm tracing over old tracks in a small mod community thats hard to make progress in. Obviously theres hardly a chance of catching up and the best option would be to join forces. There was a time when its .5 release was hyped to be "better than MTA" by clans like ULK which got to beta test. I did myself, noticing the aiming was superb, but all the other contents of the game lacked, besides that, a small time afterwards I tested the new MTA and the aiming was pretty good also, so I knew it was gonna be a total failure compared to MTA. Why would anyone play it when theres a better mod out by another group (the empty and only 5 servers hosted by the very-loyal gtat people confirm this obviously true statement). I guess I wait for the day that they come out with something big and amazing, but I dont think it will happen again, MTA is advancing so quickly, their next release will probably be lucky to be like MTA .2

I think Eagle is trying to say they wanted to give him less charterization in order to make you feel like you "fit" the character more. Not the case with Tommy though, I mean could you really have 2 mutes anyways? Too corny.

Well heres the google thing I have thats very similar to what I want, so I think its possible, I just need to figure out how to search for the mod or find someone that can make it themselves! no, I mean for links that aren't links. Like for instance if I said http://www.blah.com here, you could click it and say open or open in a new window. But say I'm looking a some other kind of message board or some site text thats not a link, like www.blah.com now you can only highlight it, copy, and paste. I want something that can give you the option to open a new IE window with said highlighted text as the address.

Ya know, I've been thinking about this for some time: where can I find a right-click menu edit mod that gives you an option to open whatever you have selected in a new IE window with the selected text entered in the address bar? In other words, being able to quickly goto links w/o copy and paste. Anyone know/have that option mod I'm looking for? I know its easily possible because I found a google mod that makes it so you can select text, and then from the right click menu, choose "Search Selected Text" and it will search for it in google in a new window (cant remember where i found it!).

Well.. maybe so but I guess theres 1 example of an effect. I tried turning off frame limiter off once or twice back in the day, it felt like I could fire and move around quicker (but it seemed like I was de-synched and many shots had no effect), but if its this smoothness youre talkin about, it was doin a damn good job at being smooth.

No need to be hostile because I mis-spelled a word, obviously you are pretty defensive, but I'm not saying you're wrong, just that theres been so many arguements of having the frame limiter on or off (not someone saying they lost because of the frame limiter) and also as Jon pointing out, the team has commented numerous times on the issue in these arguments.

It doesn't run faster, it just runs smoother. When you have 30 FPS, as opposed to 60 FPS, you see the choppiness because the game is skipping frames. When you're at 60 fps, it doesn't skip the extra 30 frames, it draws them. Play at 1 FPS and then play at 90 FPS. You're game doesn't go FASTER, it just goes smoother. So, no, having the frame limiter off does not speed up your game. I'm no expert but playing online I think would cause an effect if one person decided he wanted to let his frame rate go through the roof while the others are at a normal rate. I can't see what you're saying being true if there has been so many arguements all around the forum about turning the frame limiter off for years (literally).

I agree that SOMETHING should happen, not necessarily progress report, but something to show that theres still life here.

It does look like they share some characteristics like hair color and stuff too... I mean if he was red haired maybe then I wouldnt make the connection but it all seems possible, nothing is oddball about it.

A fantasy? hahaha No, it just seems logical with the connections being in GTA3, VC, and somewhat GTASA. VC just happened before GTA3 time and it seems like Tommy would have had a hell raiser son. Tommy Vercetti Claude Vercetti doesnt sound too bad

GTASA proves its not the same guy. I believe Tommy is his father thou theres no solid proof. GTASA reveals that the GTA3 guy is Claude, so no more "fido" nickname.
