Didn't exist. 39000 was the top back when mine broke. It did have a much more stable tray and stuff. Well anyways, my brother fixed it and made me feel like shit cause hes just a party day and night guy, doesnt know much about consoles or computers. Well turns out you use a key, one of these: to fix the DRE problems. Open up the top and open the CD tray by taking off the small screws on the covering. Inside theres a small circle white piece in the back. Stick the right size key in there and crank a few times, then just put the top on and put somethin light ontop to hold it down, and test whatever was getting DRE. Keep doing it until its right. He figured out what happens is that the laser gets out of place. All you gotta do is crank that thing left or right to raise/lower the laser to the proper level. Of course be warned that opening the PS2 voids the warranty however (but PS2 warranty sucks anyways).
