By the way, I didn't find MTA the day I joined the forums, it was quite some time before Vice City even existed The difference between Reed and the others is that not only is he fast, but he can SHOOT a stubby while maintaining speed and moving. I just laugh when I run away from the amusement of seeing him charging after me with the stubby blasts.

I think we all have commenting on reedham. Why? We all know theres no such 'glitch' that allows you to chase someone down and shoot them with a stubby while they are even running away. I too have sent KFG footage of him zipping around the Phils lot (with the hosting of Gamefreek). Honestly its not if its a glitch or not, its when he finally gets caught cheating, as KFG doesn't want to make a wrong decision to a KFC member. Even if hes NOT a cheater, hes surely playing the game unfairly. Nobody should abuse the game so much as to have the speed of a car, even when firing a stubby. Hell, no point even trying to crucify people though. MTA is just too weak when it comes to protection. It always has been. The only difference between today and the good ole days was back then, everyone followed the mutual agreement to not cheat. There were some problems, but mostly trust and friendship throughout the community prevailed. So what happened? Competition freaks, CSS people arriving, whatever. The trust is broken and the idea is "just win baby, no matter what". So, I guess MTA team is charged with the task of weeding out all these ways to cheat, which will take forever. I know, I didnt write this well but really, I've said such things so many times, you get the idea. No need to waste a bunch of time here.

speakin of skimmer landings.. I've always enjoyed trying to emergency land it on the vercetti mansion backyard (you smash into the ground if you dont land slowly/smoothly and you have very limited space to do so), then turning around and flying back off.

umm.. you need to buy the PC version of this game... and then simply install MTA on top of it. Theres no way to use PS2 GTAVC.

I say flat out delete it all. All of it. No backups. All gta's gone. Then reinstall once. Check c:/ for a file called "mta", its not supposed to be there but mine is for some reason. Its a config file, if thats there delete it also. Its not easy to give you much help as these kind of errors are almost always sucessfully solved with reinstalling gta and mta. Make sure you have right game version selected too, if you havent upgraded to v1.1, try that (only if reinstalling like I suggested doesnt work). If none of the above works do run>regedit and control+f for "mta"... see if it finds any files for multitheftauto. Only delete if you are sure as you can mess up your computer deleting files, they basically are the wiring of your computer software. For example, when your registration code expires for a program, the thing that tells it that you already have used the trial is a key or two in the registry that never deletes itself. MTA may have done the same thing but with config files. Again, just giving you some ideas, not sure to be answers.

For the RPG script, I liked that someone made a !paused command, that activated a player position check for 5 seconds or so on the player. However, it was pretty shoddy as it had very ridiculus conditions (like an !afk mode that numbs it and pretty much defeats the purpose). It was an easy and real way of letting people watch pausers themselves. Perhaps it could be edited to watch them a bit longer after it ensures they move within 5 seconds to ensure fair combat. This being a solution for NOW, not the future. btw I can see the possibility of scripting something like: !afk -stand for 10 seconds to become afk- -now afk- *enters menu* !check 7 if 7 paused and not afk then kick if 7 paused and afk then no kick

Ya know its funny I read this, after I just got done watching half of Troy (which was very interesting) on my PS2 and it went "Unable to read disc" on me, just like a few nights before with "Die Hard With A Vengence". This is the 2nd PS2 I bought, the first one I eventually got nothing BUT DRE, I literally took it out in a field and demolished it with a baseball bat (yes it was worth it I dont care). I buy the brand new 39000 series, looks much more stable... here I am today, the motherfucking PS2 is screwed up again, with the first symptom: DRE (disc read error). At this point I would like to proudly say: Fuck PS2 (and Playstation in general) up its stupid ass. Faulty worthless cheap POS.

Indeed I did spam but as you warned me, I said "something something asshole" and then you were like "I was just gonna warn you but now you're banned" or something of that sort. I just look back at it and laugh all the time. Comeon now calm down.. the insult was a joke, right? Well.. now you know how it feels. Well, you should know, as you banned me when I first came here for calling you an asshole I know you guys are like bunk buddies lately, but whatever. I've taken many remarks in my day but that one was flat out uncalled for. Especially as it was repeated to my count 3 times (that I know of, who knows how many elsewhere).
