  1. a while i ago i had that problem as well.. it was even doing it in my car, steering to the right (or left, i dunno anymore) anyways, how to fix it.. you have to manually do push it to the left again, it's very weird, as if it's something mecanical just go ingame, take a walk along the streets and keep pressing left (or right, depends on the way he's turning) at all time, until he starts to spin less and less and stops spinning
  2. where the hell are you talking about... admin console????
  3. have fun with it, and if you got any problems or if you want more info be sure to check out the FAQ, the manual and the forum using the search button, they all can be found on the site
  4. ok here's a list of things why you shouldn't do that: - it's not fair against other people (except when all players got the same settings) when you're going to race for example - it won't sync very well.. if your acceleration is 15000 and your top speed is 20000 it's way too fast for the netcode to handle it properly. - GTA3 and GTA:VC aren't tuned to except cars with an extremely high acceleration/top speed like that. They are both a bit unstable when we're talking about errors and crashes. There are lots of things (randomly too) that will cause a crash because of the code of the games. For example: get to your top speed and bump to a building or accelerate from out of a building and fly over the sea, there are just many things that will cause a crash, even in single player with these tunes cars. we're planning to integrate CRC checks (or another algorithm) into MTA, so mta.scm and handling.cfg's CRC must equal the servers settings.
  5. gta3mta and mta:vc are the same.. he's in our team yes
  6. i think you should shoot an email to [email protected]
  7. It may be because the data of your modded car conflicts with another client that uses an original car. Did you test this with people who ALL had this mod installed?
  8. First of all, it's hard to get GTA3 and GTA:VC working.. and if it finally runs, the fps is very low on most systems. I got GTA:VC on my Gentoo installation, but as i said, the FPS was very low, although vice city was playable. I think it isn't easy just to 'port' MTA to linux or make MTA run under WineX since it uses a completely different method of reading/writing memory. I think the commands we use to read and write memory from/to GTA can't be used with WineX since it works with layers and such. We either should try to make MTA work another way while running under WineX or making a linux version, and we aren't working on that at the moment.
