Servers won't download mods when you connect, as we've said many times. Many mods will come with custom assets, and the size would make it impractical to use game servers as file servers for them. You'll download them from a site, then install them, just as you would with a mod for half-life or UT or whatever. If someone wants to build VBScript into an addon they're more than welcome to. It'd be hard work I think, but it could be very rewarding in the end. I don't think its somthing we'd do ourselves - we've got a lot more planned for the future. s0beit: You can't mod the exe because you could end up messing up the interface with it. Theres no reason you'd want to mod the exe anyway, appart from cheating. If theres anything that requires you to mod the exe that we don't support, we'll do our best to implement it.

Simplified ping? The ping in mta right now is simple already, 1 byte ping 6 byte reply.. I think you meant lower ping. Blue will have a form of modability called Spearhead or something, see the SDK section of mtablue.info. Unfortunately you will need experience in the programming language C++ to be able to actually develop any "mods". As far as custom handling files / etc goes, I haven't seen any of that confirmed. No, you're wrong, Spearhead is the code name for the server. Although creating mods themselves will require C++ knowledge (to some extent), it'll be very possible for other people to make mods that allow settings to be changed in config files, or even implement a basic scripting language... Custom files of any type (appart from the gta exe) are supported.

Please can you write your posts in english. You have a keyboard and adding in the few letters that make your post understandable isn't that hard.

We do intend to be more "user focused", not that we haven't always tried, of course. Working off the blue offers us the flexibility to add features much faster than with previous versions. Experimentation in versions based on the old core was always risky and very time consuming. We can't say what "frequent updates" means, we don't give out release dates either implicitly or otherwise. It doesn't distract us away from BLUE as we're using BLUE for it...

i can't connect to server there write 10 sec delley

Um, this is a teamspeak server, for chating. You need teamspeak to connect to it. -
Theres no reason we wouldn't support it if it enhanced MTA, didn't give you an unfair advantage and doesn't hack our files.
-
If you've made a program that works with MTA, please show it to us before releasing. If it doesn't interfere with MTA or GTA files, game play or give players a competitive advantage, I doubt theres a problem. Either send one of us a message on the forums or visit on IRC.
-
We will never make MTA for XBox or any console. Doing so would be illegal without a license from Microsoft, which I somehow doubt we could afford (or justify). It would also be a huge ammount of work and quite probably not even possible. Meanwhile, enjoy MTA on PC

I take it Bishop is banned from this Non-Free-Forum speach just for saying that, correct? That doesn't seem likely, does it?

The FPS of a blue-based game is almost entirely dependent on the mod/game mode. More complex game modes might do more processing per frame, where as simple ones would do less.
-
Yes, it'll be primarily client side.
-
The blue server can be as inteligent or generic as the mod developer wants. In the end, its probably never going to be as inteligent as a game developed specially for multiplayer, as collision/hit detection is hard to do server side.
-
Territory based game modes have been suggested many times, as they are obvious for GTA. I'm sure someone will implement somthing similar on blue.
-
You could make a bus system in blue, though it looks likely that the initial version will not support ai peds (i.e. drivers). There are other ways you could 'fake' it though, its not as if you can see bus drivers anyway.
-
I think somthing similar has been implemented with MTAMA (manhunt?) though I'm not sure the person who kills the hunted becomes the hunted... Anyway, this has been suggested before, its a good ide though.

New Dynamic Image For MTA Stats (not the game-monitor one)
eAi replied to {aVC}TonyB's topic in General MTA discussion
Thats better, but it should probably be game-monitor.com and to be honest, you should ask Wojjie first. -
New Dynamic Image For MTA Stats (not the game-monitor one)
eAi replied to {aVC}TonyB's topic in General MTA discussion
I doubt wojjie would be very happy that you're stealing data off his pages. It costs him money to run game-monitor as a service. -
I don't think you can claim blacklist is always global, there could be server specific black lists...
-
If the intention is to use this with blue, you're going to want C++ coders.
-
Please don't ask for release dates.

Fixing that.... Fixed
-
They seem to have no obvious way to inform them. If someone wants to dig through their site to find a relevant email address, feel free

Hasn't it been on 65% for like 6 months? I've never really looked at it but thats what I thought it was...
-
We've contacted mcafee and they've not responded. If you're a mcafee customer, pester them to fix this issue, they don't seem to care...
-
I think we've got enough on our hands without encroaching on other people's work. Its up Racer_S to fix it if he wants. With Blue, it'll be possible to make your own cam hack in an addon if you wish. eAi
