I totally agree with that. Not once I've met SAMP players who loved MTA but they didn't move cuz all their friends are there. "I've been playing with my friends for 3 years, if I had to move I'd lose my friends, all my stats, everything". Moving a whole community is not easy, however not impossible (MTA Race -> MTA 1.0). I'd say this really depends on the server owners, do they see the potential of 1.0, would they consider taking the time and convert their scripts to a new language, would they gain anything from this? If you look at Valhalla, they're one of the few servers who have thought about these and now they're one of, if not the most popular server in MTA. Most server owners probably think, "I already have a steady player base, it's too much work, I risk losing my players if I move". However I think they shouldn't simply move and leave everything behind, maybe create a beta version of their gamemode, ask for feedback from players, see if they like it or what they want changed and finally consider moving definitely or keeping both servers running. Then it's just a matter of time until it gets more popular, with all the new features and everything.

Well, I like how the Map Edit works but in MTA:DM. The buttons are sometimes bug so that I want MTA:Race to be compitable with W7. I'm not sure what you mean, you like the editor in MTA 1.0 but you want to play MTA:Race? MTA 1.0 does have a Race gamemode, which is pretty much like the old one, only better and it's also compatible with Windows 7, so you should have no problems playing it.

Yea man, why don't you use youtube for videos? That site is horrible, the video is so small and half of it is covered in ads, you can barely see anything. Can you please upload it to youtube, or just upload it to some file sharing website? It looked kinda interesting. EDIT: woops didn't see your reply. Why not? You could store little stats in it like wanted level, "[5]dragon", meaning you don't have to create your own nickname implementation. Although I do agree that a script shouldn't be able to change a player's real nick, so when you leave the server your name should be "dragon" again.

The issue is on the bugtracker, I don't think it's hard to fix but getting it right requires some testing (so that cars don't jump too high or too low). EDIT: Could you provide us with a small piece of map that has that teleport part for testing?

You should not use MTA DM dp2.3, download the latest version from the main page which is MTA 1.0.1. Maybe you're a bit confused by the version numbering but dp2.3 was just a developer preview, not a release.
