  1. Looks like this bug was carried on from MTA Race. I don't know what causes it, but I know time fixes it, eventually it will work.

  5. Either way, I don't think custom models should be uploaded to the community (unless it's really yours and want to release it). There could be one resource that handles vehicle loading/unloading easily, so people who want custom vehicles can just download the resource, copy their mods in the folder and play. It makes more sense than having to download 20 resources for 20 cars.
  6. Hope you don't mind if I criticize it a bit. The 'Trailer' text in the intro is ugly, just remove it. The other texts like 'Deathmatch', 'Races' etc should come before the actual footage, not after it, it makes things less confusing. Some of the clips don't show any action at all, like deathmatch, races and freeroam, they should be more interesting imo. Link at the end should be either removed or changed to 'https://mtasa.com'. Last but not least, I know it's a teaser trailer but still it's too short you could fill up the end of the video with short 2-3 second clips showing several features, stuff like heli grabbing, different headlight colors, roller coaster generator, zombies etc. Other than that trailer looks nice, hope you upload a newer version of it.

    1920*1080 is not supported in single player, the dev who put it in MTA probably didn't know.
  10. You should pay attention to functions, some are server-only others client-only. You will have to move the text stuff clientside and call it with triggerClientEvent when you spawn him. Check wiki for more info about how custom events work (addEvent).
  11. OMG! This is exactly the way I imagined it. It's like you took it out of my mind. I wanted to make a flying castle too a long time ago, even made a script that makes the pirate ship flyable (sorta like a helicopter).
  12. Have you changed any resources, added new ones? You can find out which one failed by typing 'list' in the command window, then checking the server logs and looking for 'FAILED'.

What flemm means is that when you take a vehicle change pickup, a bit of vertical velocity should be applied to the vehicle, I suppose this was added in MTA:Race to prevent cars from getting stuck in the ground. When there's only one pickup this little thrust is barely noticable, but when multiple vehicle change pickups are placed on top of each other (usually different kinds else it won't work) some mappers discovered that you can 'teleport' a vehicle somewhere above. The trick is used in many maps, especially DDs.

I still think "you should shut the fuck up" when you don't have anything good to say... @JustRob: While I do agree with some of your points, I don't agree that Race should be updated because it's just too late for that now. It was a mistake from the devs not to make a patch when Vista came out, also the late patch for the server browser. It was that time when Race lost most of its playerbase. It seems to me that you're not up to date with the news. Note that MTA DM is not called DM any more, it's MTA 1.0 now so people don't associate only "deathmatch" to it, because it's much more than that. Like others said MTA 1.0 has a fully functional Race gamemode, it's like the old Race only better. You can call it an "update" for MTA Race if you want. Being a Race fan myself I encourage ppl to move to the new version once it's out, which will happen sooner than you think. EDIT: Another advantage is that it will constantly be updated, you won't need to wait months for a patch to come out, once a bug is fixed you can download the new version right away.
