  1. well you can create objects with the same rotation however when it comes to creating curves (turns or twisted things) you need to work in the editor, if you know what I mean.. the program might save you some time, you can make a "sketch" of the map and then finalize it using the map editor..
  2. you tried to miltiply the submarine? in that case open up the file you created and copy the text into an existing map, I entered those numbers and got this: pretty funny, don't you think? you entered 200 for the z coordinate which is a bit high, maybe that's why you didn't find the object, and by entering 1 means that the objects will be very close to each other.. EDIT: @limpeh-behsi here's a new version of the program, I hope it's easier to use, just choose an object, move it to the location you want it to be and write down the old and new coordinates (in the editor press F3 for properties) and enter those in the tool.. http://www.rogepost.com/dn/qhn4

Put your map in the same folder as the program, start it, select the stuff you want to move, pick an object and write down its old coordinates, move it to the place you want it to be and note that new coordinate too (these are the key things you need to make it work) and you're done. I hope it's clear.
  5. Here are some programs I created for myself and I though I'd share them with other map makers too. Probably some people have already created better versions, if not then I hope they will be helpful. Map Mover I use this to move spawnpoints, objects, checkpoints, pickups or all at once to a different location. Multiplier Easy way of creating long roads, multiply objects or anything else. Color Changer Change the color of checkpoints without affecting their properties (though you can change their size and type as well if you want to).   7. yep, that's where I saw it you can notice a delay of ~10 seconds compared to your real time..
  8. it's a pity that GTA's replay system is so "raw", you can only record 30 seconds and the objects look rather static than dynamic.. R* could have done a better job, remember Driver 1 & 2, it had an advanced replay which I'd like to see in the GTA series too.. anyway, imagine something better in MTA, a cross between GTA's replay and the camera hack with no time limit.. you would never say "gosh, I wish had Fraps on" again, plus your footage would be far more complex.. I know there were some tries to make one for Race but then it got removed (for sync problems I guess).. right now, I'd be happy with that crappy one from the game if it was only in MTA.. my question: will we get replay in one of your next releases? (DM maybe?)
  9. well we know you can shoot out of cars, if you can do that from a heli there you go.. get yourself a minigun and have fun.. ;P I played SA a long time ago so I don't remamber if there was a gatling gun in it (I'm not talking about a portable one).. it would be fun to put one in a DM map high on a cliff, be the first one to reach it and cause some massacre.. BTW there are surveillance cams in the game (excuse me if it has been already mentioned)..
  10. an update is needed, at least to fix those known issues like the early start glitch, "rcon say" crash, invisible aircrafts.. oh, and the hunter's machine gun is way too overpowered it can kill a car in a split of a sec which takes away the fun.. there aren't any skills involved in holding the machine gun button for a sec and killing another person.. the rockets are ok, it's much harder to hit someone with it.. the hydra has flares and guided missiles, will the sync be improved enough so we can have fun with them?

I hope you are still going to update it, I heard some bad birdies saying you won't.. we all have a hard time with laggers/pushers/rammers/blockers/noobs etc at the start, resolving the problem though is quite easy (theoretically).. just take away the collision of the cars at the beginning of every race (i.e. for 10 seconds) this setting could also be chosen by the server admin and the map maker, some maps might be more fun if the collision would be taken out completely.. same goes with respawns, you are a "ghost" for 3-5 seconds after then you get solid again.. if someone happens to be in your vehicle's radius at that time, you get out of your "ghost" body only when you got seperated from the other one.. I hope you get what I mean, making the car a bit transparent would also be nice if that's possible, or at least figure out something that signals that your vehicle has no collision (a small light, a text, anything).. a nice addition would be if you saw how many checkpoints/seconds is the next vehicle ahead or behind you if you are 1st.. I know don't want to keep the screen crowded with all sorts of things, this could be toggled on/off.. speaking of toggling, movies would be a lot nicer without the chatbox and the hud, can't we turn those off/on? last but not least cheaters are lurking everywhere, detecting them though is not easy every time, if we only had a spectator mode.. it's something that lots of people want.. thank you for reading!     hmmm.. I was even closer to win on MX_Sky.. BRB I'll search the screenie.. EDIT: this one was close, I almost lost it! EDIT2: here it is! I have no idea why the game chose Toad as a winner.. maybe because he has a nicer name than me..

    that is either 14:64:850 or somebody was using the OKW progream.. EDIT: no way O_O.. I think the fastest way to complete this map is using the rustler.. but still, 2:45 is pretty fast.. GJ! there's another possibility, maybe he used the tank..
  16. 5. free cam in "dead-mode" - just like the one in the map editor only for races after you die... 6. key bindings? 7. a small race description when the race starts (for example: the police must catch the suspects.. etc) EDIT: WOW ransom o.o' that video is incredible... what do you use to fly the hydra?
  17. hiya I'm new on the forum (not on MTA) just a couple of suggestions for future releases/updates... 1. a search feature; to search for players, servers, a particular map etc. 2. race statistics; let the server keep statistics about who won, how many times, what's the best time, how many times has somebody blow up etc. 3. show the number of players playing on a server; like "5th of 16" and when somebody dies it automatically gets on the last free space, let's say somebody blows his car at the beginning so he's now on 16th place instead of N/A, the next car to blow up will get on 15 and so on... there should be a difference between someone dieing at the beggining of the race and someone who dies at the end of the race when barely a few players were alive... you know what I mean? 4. an undo/redo feature; I couldn't find one in the map editor... it would be very useful because you can delete a CP by accident for an example and it's a real pain to get it back... and the checkpoint reordening needs fixing... also is there a list of controls for the map editor? I recently found out what F2 does (it's a very useful button)... I looked in the read-me and couldn't find anything, or maybe I was looking in the wrong place... that's it, if I'll find something that I think should be improved or added I'll let you know... PS: sorry if any of these have been already mentioned...
