I assure you there's no major difference in using keyboards or gamepads (at least in MTA:Race) so that's really not needed

no offense but that sounds dumb, that's like saying left handed ppl shouldn't be allowed to play MTA becuase they're not right handed.. it's not like playing with a controller gives you uber advantage over the game, I prefer keyboard+mouse too and I never had the feeling that those who use a gamepad drive faster than me or make better turns, it requires skills no matter what you're using to play

well if the team picks members from the community for the closed beta obviously '12 year old nubs' will have less chance of being chosen, they will choose people who can be trusted (mostly IRC/forum regulars) probably more people will be needed close to the public release to stress test the servers and see how stable the mod is with larger amount of players

actually those aren't SA's interiors, they are only the objects that make them up, there was a link somewhere to download these objects if you wanted to use them.. note that modifyng these places (removing, adding new stuff) won't modify the actual interior in the game what you can do though is to copy the whole interior to a new place and somehow spawn in it in SP.. I guess you already know about the .map to .ipl converter

I don't think that's possible in the Race editor since all the interiors are invisible.. if you know the exact coordinates you could try and add the new objects and see if they load in SP (remember I'm 100% sure)

yep just download the client and install it follow the instructions and you'll do fine

haha this is actually a good idea, banning doesn't stop those with dynamic IP to come back and annoy you, so why not annoy them instead? create a spawnpoint high above mount Chiliad and let them die over and over again or take away their keybinds and humiliate them with a flower lol or have a "hall of noobs" where you can keep noobs as if they were brophys... well lil_toady answered all your questions there, just because you can 'see' the other players it doesn't mean they are synced in other words they appear to move, walk, climb and do all kinds of random stuff but in fact they aren't controlled by human players.. for example you might see someone being next to you, while he is on the other side of the map doing something else..

I don't see why MTA won't make a mod for GTA IV, maybe the game will have multiplayer for PC too but I don't think it's not gonna be anything like MTA:DM, will it have a map editor, will it support custom models, scripting? I highly doubt it.. and just because it's a new engine it doesn't mean that everything's lost, it's not like you have to start from scratch since the game already has multiplayer so I suppose you can extend that EDIT: I agree with you, it's too early to argue on this
