you put a smile on my face MTA already has an anti cheat system (which is not that reliable), there are no 3rd party anti cheat programs that I know of however you can make a script that autokicks any player whos name is on a 'blacklist' when they join, for example if you put a player named 'd()b' on the blacklist, when somebody with the same name joins they are kicked automatically

you will be able to add your custom animations maybe sometime in the future, if you want a waving flag all you need to do is create a custom animated object (I think that's possible, think about the moving signs in LV or the UFO)

uhm chill down? o.o' I was just giving my 2 cents, didn't mean to be offensive in anyway, I never said your idea 'sucked' just that imo it has a few downsides...

you don't, but others do.. let's say I play on a random server where a newb admin thinks I'm cheating because I lag too much, shit happens, no big deal and I move to another server, the next they the server owner decides to share his so called 'cheaters list' with others, within the following days the list gets uploaded to 10 other servers and suddenly I realise I can't play on my favorit servers and I'm like 'WTF!' I'm not saying that you made such mistakes (maybe you did, maybe you didn't, I don't really care) but admins on other servers ban for a whole bunch of other reasons as well NOT only for cheating, I find it silly for instance to get banned from several servers just because a noob admin owner hates me and others use his list EDIT: must have missed that

sanzor has a point, by banning the ISP you also ban a whole lot of innocent people just to get rid of 1 sucker who comes back once or twice and eventually gets bored and stops cheating an idea would be to temporarily ban their subnet (for a couple of days, maybe a week), when the cheaters see their banned they won't come back and those who play fairly will just have to wait a few days.. personally I don't like the idea of sharing the banlists, I know your intentions are good but imo it won't work.. we have banned over a thousand cheaters from our server and I bet if we shared the list, it wouldn't make that much of a difference, I think 99% of those on the list would never play on your server (either because they stopped cheating/playing or they have been banned already) not to mention that includes accidental bans, admin abuse, yeah I've been banned for driving TOO GOOD ¬.¬ and I don't consider myself a really good racer.. just my 2c

I didn't say it's not possible, just not right now, the focus is on fixing the last bugs and releasing the mod to the public, adding new features (like AI) takes time and it would only cause delays.. I hope that answers your question

nope that's not true, I'll give you a cookie if you show me where it says the PC version of GTA4 (which hasn't even been announced yet) will have online multiplayer

I have no idea why you guys think that, there's no confirmation on a PC release yet, it will probably be released many months after the console versions and we have no idea if it will have multiplayer or not.. people still play MTA:VC even if it's an old mod, lots of us have requested a new version of it maybe after MTA:DM is released.. my point is that when GTA4 comes out people won't stop playing these games just because they're old
