  1. Great...my post got deleted?
  2. 3 HOUR DOWNLOAD? HOLY SHIT! What connection are you on?

    Crusader Armor Glitch

Or you could make it so they can't spawn as Crusader twice in a row.
  4. There's no need to post the same thing in 3 different threads. I've already replied to it in one of the other ones, and also the best way of getting help is posting a new topic altogether, rather than posting your problem in someone elses.
  5. Close all other background running processes that you do not need. Anything with the word "hack, trainer, cheat, cudda, blood" etc in it that is open while you try to play MTA will cause it to disconnect you because it think you are trying to cheat.
  6. Administrator you mean? No I shouldn't think so, you only need to be an administrator with Windows 2000/XP when INSTALLING software, not running it. Check that you're not firewalled or behind a NAT/router, and if you are, make sure you open the game port and the game port + 123 through both.
  7. I think he means administrator. I'll write a guide with screenshots and stuff for how to set up a server when I get home from work today.
  8. Multi Theft Auto mIRC Admin.

    Modified Version

His patcher probably won't work on the no-cd crack. Reinstall the game so it places the original EXE there, then run the patcher on that and it should work.

  12. Join the server with the lowest ping on the list. You're probably timing out because there are too many packets being lost between you and the sever, which is usually caused by high latency, long distances between you and the server, and the strength of both yours and the servers connection speed.
  13. Stop helping? Why? I'm one of the rare few who actually posts in the Help section.
  14. March to June? You must be shitting me.
  15. At least now he can't ban me for arguing with him
  16. Holy shit, that really works for the linux version? Will you be able to run it in screen, detatch it, resume it and do it?
  17. In that case I guess we'll have to wait for the release to explore all the features, and since it's "feature locked", I'm guessing the release is not far away.
  18. I'm talking about features, not maps. Maybe a video of somebody demonstrating the SDK would be good to come out next Edit: the maps are impressive, considering they were made by beta testers, meaning the map editor must be VERY impressive.
  19. http://mtablue.info/ Just out of curiosity, are those screenshots real, and if so, are they what the Blue interface will look like?
  20. I have nothing against any of the MTA team, and I respect the work they do, considering so many of them put in so much effort to provide a fun mod for people to play on, at their own expense (server for hosting, domain) etc, and I'm not having a cheap shot at Oli, incase you didn't know, someone found a few lines of script in his GRS (which is used on a LOT of servers) which emailed the ip, port and admin password to some random gmail account. And he is a very trusted person in the community, it's not what you'd expect to come from a person as good as him. Although he supposedly didn't write the script, he should have checked it through first, since he hardly knew the person who put it in. Also there are a number of bugs with the current version which have existed since it's release a long time ago, and there's not been a single update with the exception of the one which fixed the memory leak. Like I said before, I never asked to be a beta tester did I? And even if I did, MrBump would have disallowed it. Back on topic anyway, the video is cool, though the content doesn't differ much from the previous one, you're all still just racing around the map and not highlighting any changes from the previous beta's. Still looks good though. Ps By-Stander if you haven't realised, I'm also mirroring all of the videos, so I obviously don't have anything against MTA.
  21. It will be possible. The team plan on releasing an SDK (software developers kit, but I'm sure you knew that ) alongside the first release of the actual mod, so people can edit many features of the game. There will also be a map editor, I'm not sure if this will be part of the SDK or not, but you can see it in use in the second publicity video. You can download the video here: http://www.mtasa.com/videos/ (The one you want is quality assurance 2)
  22. Not at all, but he was an ircop on the multitheftauto server, and used to kill/gline people all the time, eventually the rest of the team were annoyed with it so they confronted him about it, he wasn't happy about it and he "went to get something from the fridgde", signed off irc and didn't return for another 2 months or so. Now he's not an ircop, doesn't have op in the channel, and I don't think he contributes to the team anymore. All he did was write a manual to one of the older versions, if my memory serves me correctly. If I wanted to betatest Blue, I probably would have asked when it was started. If Blue is anything as good as they make it out to be, I'll play it when it comes out and if it doesn't satisfy me more than the current versions do, I'll scrap it and lose interest.
  23. Incorrect, actually I was banned by MrBump from IRC and the forum countless times, he's now been kicked from the team for abusing his power on several occasions. I'm probably the higest poster in this section, and I've also made quite a few topics on various things (how to install the Linux server etc), some of which have been stickied. @ Black Dragon, get JonChappell to forward you the PM I sent him, it goes into great detail.
