I used the Serverconfig thing to setup and launch a server and then i went into the client and i can't find my server anywhere!! not even as unscanned!!! And i tried to start a server with the client, when i clicked "start server" button the client closes and nothing happens! And..yea, when i use the "remote admin tool" thing, what does the "host" means and what does the "admin" mean? and when i tried to connect it only says "A problem occured while trying to connect"~!~!~! Now what? someone plz help!

i am not the admin of this PC when i installed it myself (i am using XP) and MTA is running normal, besides the server setup, that is. This pc is at my home no NAT and i am not sure if the firewall does anything to it, but i CAN connect to servers and start playing

YEa that happens to me and i think you'll have to be a administer of the PC to creat the server..but i am not sure, are you an administer of the PC?

Do you have to be the administer of the PC to host a server with MTA

Well yeah but that doesn't help my last question which the warning appears AFTER i deleted the "MTAServerConfigTool.exe.manifest" file when i tried to enter the MTAServerConfigTool it self or click "setup server" in the client......

I can't creat a server myself, everytime when i click setup it says something like "System Error &H80070583 (-21407023485)" and i tried to delete the "MTAServerConfigTool.exe.manifest" and then i click setup it says "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" what should i do [/code]
