  1. Do you actually own the game, or did you download it?
  2. Or localhost, or 127.0.0.1.
  3. Or localhost, or 127.0.0.1.
  4. 16mb?
  5. Why buy a game when your computer doesn't meet the recommended requirements? If you want to play games, buy/build a gaming computer.
  6. He must be pro then, because even the devs said they aren't synched.
  7. thank you finally someone understands the whoole time i was talking about MTA:SA, i thot i made it clear,..well peace out ill see you all tomorrow Topic root: Multi Theft Auto Forum Index -> MTA 0.5 -> HELP AREA -> Questions Now who's the retarded one?
  8. You can't change/add maps on the MTA 0.5 server. It's impossible since the game is fixed to the entire city anyway.
  9. You're calling him a dumbass, and yet you're the one who's asking how to upload maps to your MTA 0.5 server when IT ISN'T EVEN FUCKlNG POSSIBLE.
  10. ASE doesn't show local servers.
  11. What did you "hopped for" then? MTA:SA is good, better than I expected, actually.
  12. LOL it gives you an example and you can't even read that Anyway, remote admin is different to rcon. You need to edit the remote admin settings for that, and it also doesn't require a username like rcon does.
  13. LOL, Destruction Derby owns and always will do, this map is also sweet as fuck.
  14. No.
  15. Freeza you need to ask the network administrator to allow connections on port 22003. Bearing in mind that's the default port, people will also use alternatives so it's probably wise to allow connections on port 22003 to 50000 or something.
  16. You can't upload maps for MTA 0.5, it's just one big island which you can't change.
  17. Which ports have you opened?
  18. I think it is the problem. Pirating software is illegal and the MTA team do not support it, therefore it should not be discussed here. If you really want to play the game, go and buy it like the rest of us. lock this topic please.
  19. Also check your NAT if you have one. If you're sure you've done everything possible to allow traffic on port 22003 and you still can't connect to servers, contact your ISP. It is possible they may be running a "head-end" NAT which you cannot control.
  20. MTA will NOT be compatible with the v2.00 exe since it was placed there to eliminate modding completely (thanks to hot coffee). However, there is a solution. See this thread: http://www.forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15151
  21. Based on my partial understanding of your poorly thrown together sentance, yes you do need to open ports through your firewall/router for people to join. And you can log in to rcon by doing the following command in the console: rcon_login
  22. You need to set it in the server configuration.
  23. screen -S mta ./mta_server Then hit Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+D to detatch from it.
  24. It's a bug which many people have had. First the checkpoints won't register, then your ingame chat might stop working (won't let you send text) and finally you get kicked for suspected cheating. I don't think there's a fix yet but I'm sure one is being worked on.
  25. Port forwarding (sometimes also referred to as tunneling) is the act of forwarding a network port from one machine to another. One use of this technique can allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from the outside via a NAT-enabled router. You need to do this if you are behind a gateway which has a built in firewall (for example a router or NAT). The All-Seeing Eye doesn't list local servers anyway, so you'll need to ask someone else if they can check it for you. And loggin into rcon is simple. Simply do rcon_login in console.
