I don't think it does it badly at all, I would prefer it to the menu system. That is a totally NEW feature, not an improvement on an existing GTA feature.

No.. you cant race with traffic. You can't use .IPL's with MTA. You can however convert them into .MAP files which MTA does use, using the IPL > MAP converter. This is useful if you want to make a race map of some interior that's inaccessible in the game, or if you want to use existing things such as land masses for a custom map. edit: if you were talking about .MAP > .IPL, nevermind.

I remember reading that bots would take as much bandwith as human players. This definately won't happen in the first release of the mod, probably never. Unless someone makes it when the SDK is out.

Remove the mod or re-install San Andreas.

Just open MTA Server.exe to run the server, and change the config files.

Are you changing the view to bumper? Usually you can't see nametags in bumper view.
