  3. hmm...why?.. hehe..aren't the patches official patches issued bu R*?.. so, if u support them, then what's the problem?.. I never understood this issue.. He's talking about the user-made patch that turns your .exe into v1.0.

  5. One way would be to differentiate the teams by giving them different vehicles and seperating their spawnpoints.
  6. It's funny how people make these assumptions anout the mod, when they haven't the slighest clue about what is really happening.
  7. It shouldn't get you a better rank, because it's irrelevant. What is relevant are your contributions to the forum.
  8. If people decide to place objects over the racers, then that is their fault. And most people would wait until the object was placed before they go forward. I think you would rarely get stuck in an object, and if you do, your car would just pop out of it - no big deal. About the lag, objects should barely effect framerate. It's other vehicles that do. I think this idea could work.

    As the above posts stated, MTA:DM has not yet been released. MTA:Race was made to test the core that is now being used to develop deathmatch. Beyond that, you can't compare the two mods as there is very little information that is publically available on MTA:DM and it's features. As for which mod is better, you can decide for yourself once MTA is released.

    Go into the .map file you created, oipen it with notepad, and change the vehicle ID's of the spawnpoints to the vehicles you want.
  15. Good point. It would be much worse with the Andromeda due to it's higher speed and the jerkiness caused by lag. The best way to do this would be to 'glue' the player/vehicle to the Andromeda so it's position is in sync.

  17. The current size of the fanbase doesn't matter IMO. Things will change drastically when the mod is released.
  18. That will never happen, lol, but interesting idea.
  19. You can't get in the back of the Andromeda vehicle, but you can get in the back of the Andromeda objects (used in the single player missions).
