  1. Use this to learn LUA: http://www.lua.org/pil/ The scripting tutorial from the QA team is just an example of a working script.
  2. You use a different function to set rotations, anyway as MrJax said you'll be able to see the documentation for the functions (and their arguments) once it's complete. edit: opps, kevuwk beat me to it
  3. There are a couple of possible workarounds, but they take time to implement.
  4. The game does it, we wouldn't show any fake footage in an official video.
  5. It's blocked mainly so you can't pause (the game pauses when you lose focus of the application).
  6. You use your MTA center account. http://www.center.mtasa.com
  7. The link is on the first page of this thread, there are three mirrors for it. Uh, all forums are like this. It would be pretty hard to follow a discussion reading posts in reverse order.
  8. How do you get to the idea they got of C++? That has nothing to do with Lua, the core and the MTA files are all written in C++ (and other stuff, x86 assembly I was told once) but they just build Lua support on top of it. It has been stated that the SDK will use C++.
  9. It could be some MTA bug if single player is fine. Did you try uninstalling MTA and GTA? If you choose to buy a new card, DO NOT get another GeForce 6200, you won't notice any difference. 128MB of onboard RAM is perfectly fine for this game. I would suggest a 6600GT or something similar.
  10. There's no such thing as a vehicle spawn pickup, must be a typo.
  11. When does this happen? Do you get 10-15 fps when there are a lots of other cars nearby, when there are 1 or 2, or when you're alone? What is your performance like in single player? Also, the best thing to buy would be a faster video card, your RAM should be enough.
  12. No complications with the mod, it just takes time to make the scripts and get some decent footage of them.
  13. There are no vehicle respawn pickups. Only regular pickups from single player (weapons, health, and armor). Ok, so when someone destroys a vehicle it's gone forever untill the next match. No, there are vehicle respawn options, these were covered in a blog post a while back. This has nothing to do with any pickups.
  14. There are no vehicle respawn pickups. Only regular pickups from single player (weapons, health, and armor).
  15. Should be soon. No, it doesn't say anything about the release of MTA since it's fully up to the QA team to make the scripts and videos.
  16. I mainly used this one: http://www.lua.org/pil/
  17. Where does the 250 figure come from? I thought the limit was by density (amount of objects per unit area).
  18. You need the original gta-vc.exe, the patch will give that if you have a cracked version of the file.
  19. It should be possible if the two computers are on the same network. He can connect by entering your internal IP address in Quick Connect.
  20. Its like Gmod for Hl2. http://www.garrysmod.com/ You can read about it there. You can, but it won't be as advanced as GMod due to the limitations of GTA's engine (and of MTA).
  21. The video card is by far the biggest factor here, there are many 128MB cards that are crap (I don't know about his).
