the only way i got mine to work was to change the DMZ setting on my router page,,, however in doing that i went from 4mbps to about 1mbps.

Why? That would only promote spawn wars with that class. thats what has made mta so FUN. having that option, to do the spawn war, or to do the VC war. what could it hurt? just put it in a secluded area. like KFG mentioned... PS why not have our cake and eat it too??

i like the randomized spawn bit, but like the ideas have been mentioned,. i think we could use one skin that spawns in one place, with both stubby and long range. maybe set it aside to a special place, like the golfcourse was mentioned.

as long as we're talking of being fair to all.... i'd like to see two skins get a stubby. one is a designated spawn of choice (such as the house on prawn) with that said, take something from the crusader, and hand him a stubby. people are going to dominate with that stubby no matter what you change on it, unless it's taken out. slothman was right, the stubby is just plain fun! the no jumping with projectiles or stubby makes things a bit more 'equalized' nice one the only thing i can say about mta 0.5 i don't get along with, would be the 'no running with projectile' bit. p.s. and yes, bring the spaz back, just put it somewhere incredibly hard to get to. /edit gah the typos

first off congrats to the 0.5 team for making things possible, gg on these releases. now to the topic, i do feel, editing the stubby, with less damage, and weird animations is pretty alienating... not to mention just waiting to be exploited by a large percent of players. why not keep the stubby pickups and take the robbers stubby from him? maybe give him a regular shotty? or a ruger? or both? maybe just make the robber spawn in different places? but i guess opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.

yep there is indeed a 'run with weapon' mod out there... but i'm afraid thats not whot it is. i'm curious to see, especially since it was born into the same family as the likes of Utopia, k00ner, Wheelman. all of which were heavily suspected of using mods. /edit i have nothing against KFC in itself, i've actually met some cool kids from KFC. HOWEVER, KFC didn't get the bad rep for no reason, if you know what i mean.
