one thing that was special to me in previous MTA releases is the chat client. could an optional external program be implemented, it seemed to make MTA unique in itself, even if you weren't playing, you could multitask and keep up with what's going on... if not supported by MTA but maybe a 2nd party. maybe something could be done such as an echo channel for irc? i realize admin will have this ability to chat without being in game. but if you're like me you have moments you want to keep up with whats going on but you dont want to hog your CPU alt tabbing out when you have other things to do.
