  1. Well from the looks of it, the GTA3:MTA may even be better than MTA:VC... But there's only like 5 guns in GTA3... It'll never beat Vice City...
  2. You guys never promise anything...
  3. That was terrible. Stick to HotDog rhymes. Because I got the time. I'm fine. I like to rhyme. I'm gonna shine. w00t. I'm pwnage at this.
  4. Yeah, I know. Too much trouble just for 1 video.
  5. The longest I've ever compressed was a 4 mintue video... That took about 45 seconds.
  6. Playing at 1 FPS or 90 FPS doesn't make your game faster. But if you have 90 FPS, you will see more frames, making your game smoother. Big difference between speed and smoothness. Frame limiter on or off, 1 FPS or 90 FPS, in reality, has no effect on your player itself. But it may have an effect on you, because who can play well with 1 frame per second? For a guy with 1 FPS, it doesn't take 90 frames to accomplish what a 90 FPS guy can do in 1 frame. The game still goes the same speed, except the guy at 1 FPS sees less of it. Which brings us around full circle to what I just stated about it being difficult to play at 1 FPS.
  7. Well if it takes you a few hours to compress with DivX, I've never had it take more than a minute. Maybe you ought to try some new settings with it...
  8. I tried with DivX, WinAmp, and even Windows Media Player... DivX usually plays anything...
  9. Hmm, I am now the most confused I have ever been on this message board. And that's pretty confused, believe me.
  10. Or could have no effect at all... Since most "old" PCs wouldn't pass 30 fps anyway, whether the frame limiter was on or off, they wouldn't hit 30 fps. Having the frame limiter off doesn't change any speeds. It doesn't make you any faster or give you any advantages. Whether your game is at 1 fps or 90 fps, the game still goes the same speed but more choppy. So, the only advantage you might say, is that their game is smoother, but that's simply an assumption. I play with mine off and my game never passes 30 fps!
  11. What? Wasn't he talking about the big map showing names? Not the radar...
  12. SubSpace is lag free. Even on a 56k, there's hardly any lag. (The damn game is over 10 years old now... It was designed for like 16k modems, so all the cables overhaul it, lol)
  13. Yeah I know, just making a little joke... As for car engines, if you hold the up arrow while you're a passenger, you hear the car sounds! But that's a "ghetto" way of doing it, so I guess car sounds would be a good idea for when you're on foot.
  14. What are you people using to watch these videos?
  15. I always assumed that you "compress" with "codecs". It says "Compression" on VirtualDub, then you choose a "codec". Whenever I encode a video with DivX it only takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute... Depending on how long the video is.

    HELP!

I always knew it was true. He's probably just some silly foreigner that isn't really sure what's going on anyway...
  17. They'll reset it as soon as I spam, But since I don't, I don't think they can. Because I am the MAN!
  18. That's a pretty cool logo. But it won't be half as cool as the KFC logos he's going to pump out for us.
  19. 2 years for MTA 0.4? What? Huh?!
  20. Aren't you special...
  21. OHHH, Nosgoth was worried about mods, being illegal, etc... D'oh. Oh yeah, that is pretty dumb.
  22. So at least our long wait will be worth it... (Many people think you're all just sitting on your bum bums being lazy!)
  23. I think you mean "compressing", not "decompressing"... Anyway... I've reduced 150 meg videos down to 10 meg videos with compression! And there's know noticable quality difference.
  24. I noticed you seemed to be missing a few posts...! Anyway, the best compression I've found is DivX Codec. Good stuff.
  25. Is that sarcasm? I don't really understand what you're saying...
