There still isn't a FAQ! Sure, there are instructions on the main site about how to get 0.2a going, but that's not really an FAQ... A FAQ should address all the annoying questions in the forum, so the forum doesn't get filled with useless messages! (like how many players, if the thing is real, what the new method is, the game modes...) Sorry 'bout bothering you, but I've needed to get that off my chest for a while

Level editing tools have been around for quite some time... the stunt-park featured is "The Ultimate Stunt Park", by Odie. it's pretty good. There's another mod too, at http://www.guardians.ch/ggm As of now, it's better, but MTA 0.3a is probably going to change that, unless the GGM mod has a new release before MTA's. 0.3a is real... It's just been delayed a lot. So many people got pissed at the MTA crew, that release dates were no longer given, and there was a 24 hour lockdown of the forum. Which wasn't fun. There's gonna be another beta test tommorow, details will be in a forum announcement. (although you might not be able to get in, unless you live in/near Holland's time zone, or you're willing to go on IRC at 4 in the morning to beta test *sigh*... doesn't anyone care about Half-Life 2?

It's difficult to tell if it's real, but I'm guessing it is, since it has an active forum, and the creator can be seen on the GGM forums too. So, there are now 3(!) multiplayer mods. I'm kinda hoping that GGM and this new mod will suck, cause having a split in the userbase would be so freakin' annoying Moderators: Don't lock this... it appears to be real. (I'm talking to YOU Mr. Bill ) Ask Blokker, and xerox... they've been posting on there (or at least someone by their name).

methinks you set the fraps settings waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high... lower 'em (especially the FPS) and see if it's any better.

ah, it's not really worth it... it's just some Admin Console key binds.... (for example, pressing six rotates the car 5 degrees to the right, pressing the 7 key sends the car shooting into the air....

I took a try of this thing, and found out your problem. This mod ONLY changes the skin of the mr. whoopie to a helicopter. I does not have any special code. You could fly the Mr. Whoopie just as easily without this mod installed. now then... here how they got a regular car to "fly": The GTA3 Admin Console. They mapped the keys, and keyboard shortcuts, to different admin console commands (so... pressing the 6 key makes the car turn 5 degrees right). So, if you want an at all realistic mod, you'd have to make your own... (it's quite possible.. really. You take the Admin Console source code, then tie it in with your own program that maps some keys to different movement commands, and makes the car float. difficult, but possible)

well, if you're playing with a friend over a LAN, then sure, but online, 0.2a isn't all that much. (even though I haven't played it yet )

well, we also have to think about the 56k'ers... downloading 20 megs of skins/mods is a little harsh for a 56k modem.
