noooo!... It looks as though you're having a problem with GTA:VC, not MTA... Check out the sound options for VC, there may be something in there... It seems as though the sound effects are just cranked down.

go View -> Games (or something like that... wherever you found the Not Installed list). Select MTA (in either list) and hit Browse... Find MTA, and select it it should be C:\Program Files\MTA\MTAClient.exe

well, it is in General MTA:VC... methinks it's correct I don't think there's a weapon map anywhere... Or at least it hasn't been posted.

1.1 fixes graphical problems. (NOT the slow loading textures). I think it only applies to GeForce cards...
