MrBump never said it would be possible - he just said that a lot more things would be possible. If it is possible in the new core, that would be a bonus, but don't expect it.

In my experience it's the last person to shoot the killed who gets the credit. This would explain why during a fight where someone carkills both of the fighters you get: A killed B. (Vehicle) B killed A. (Vehicle)

When have I or any FMJ ever insisted on them being removed? Ha. My personal opinion is that they should be left out of matches, but FMJ have never and will never refuse a match because of helikills. The ball's in your court now - you still insist on them being included in matches and you don't care about any other weapon rules, which says to me that it's not the priciple of making sure all things are allowed - you just like to helikill. Why don't you just rename yourselves to the United Legion of Helikillers? Oh wait, because it's mainly you who wants helikills. I remember in one or two of our matches, a couple of ULKs expressing their dislike of helikills.
-
The funny thing is that by insisting on helikills being allowed in matches, you're giving the impression that you can't win without them. Why the VCN? That's the best one. I'd much rather get rid of the Sparrow in favour of the VCN.

How about modelling the gang wars around what is there at the moment? Obviously many things can happen in a 'pre-round gathering', like someone gets an itchy trigger finger or there are crashes or accidental carkills, etc. Maybe something like a 1 on 1 round, or a 10-minute free for all with respawn allowed. We all know how long a match can take to get started in VC, imagine how long it would take in the format suggested.

Hehe - I've already started DomAir. The airline that flys from Supa Save in Portland to Staunton and Shoreside Vale
-
Sorry - from that and the way I've seen you land, I thought you meant stall the engine and land vetically. The way I do it, I never have the nose heading down.
-
How quickly do you think they can program this?! I predict that SA will be out at least a year before MTA 1.0 is.
-
I have actually perfected a gentle landing now, rather than the vertical landing Black Dragon suggests in his tutorial. Basically, when you push the nose up you lose speed, but if you push it too far you stall it and crash down, so you need to push it up to just before it would stall and you get a perfect descent. You do need a long landing strip though like the runways or a long straight road.

Which mall? Washington Mall is taken by FMJ, and the North Point Mall also has an interior like the Malibu. I think that interiors shouldn't really matter though because you can always allow the other team to enter, let their textures load, and the exit again ready for the attack.

I love it - when it went into the zooming out part I goosepimples all over. Definitly a 10/10. And thought the VC Tribute was good!
-
Hehe - we were teasing {ULK}BioHzrd on the FMJ GTA3 server by calling him a car lamer when it was actually us and he was even out of game!
-
No you weren't - we got over there quite a while before you gave me a demo of your flying. The first time we got over there I was the pilot - I think I remember Gonna look at that guide though - I can't the hang of actually flying it - I tend to glide to the next island [update]Black Dragon, that tutorial is very good - I believe I have mastered the basics of flying the Dodo now. I have tried before using other tutorials, but none were as clear and comprehensive as yours - thank you[/update]

Then why do the blades kill people?
-
[FMJ]Oli and I had fun getting to Staunton and Shoreside Vale with a Dodo yesterday. Oli took like 80 screenshots or something - shame we couldn't get out of the Dodo

San Andreas will probably be using the same base graphics engine as GTA3 and VC- does this make it more likely that an MTA mod will be possible, or is it another part of the game that is important?
-
Clicking your fire button (left mouse or ctrl usually) will toggle between none/mph/none/kmh
-
What do you mean? It says "drowned" or "baseball bat" in brackets. He's saying that if it was the ONLY thing added (ie if they hadn't changed anything EXCEPT that).
-
Absolutely brilliant! Both VC and GTA3 are much better than previously. The characters in VC are much more balanced and I'm loving the Secret Service (katana). Weapon buying is the best thing in GTA3. I can't wait for the other islands Unfortunately I was experiencing a lot of lag in VC - I think it's my connection but I'm not sure.
-
Noticed a slight error - the helicopter at the mansion is a Sparrow, not a Maverick. Oh and I've done a weapon 0.3 pickup map for FMJ, but I would have thought that it will be slightly wrong quite soon .
-
Hmm - what does GTA stand for? BTW It was nice owning you
-
There's actually three - the 'pink arrow' one near the Malibu, one in Downtown near the Phoenix Spawn, and one in Little Haiti near the Dump.

Those prices are a joke. (P)izza = $7 ©offee = $2 (D)oughnuts = $3 P + C + D = $7 + $2 + $3 = $12 So why would I want to get all three combined and pay $13, when they are cheaper when bought separately? And coffee and doughnuts together already cost $5 ($2 + $3). Your customers are just going to be confused and will think you're trying to cheat them.

"helikill lame" "carnoob" "lame shot in the back" "lamatovs" "cheater!" All these things I hear regularly in our server - I certainly don't like people who whine about being killed (I never do). They are all basically excuses for dying and not being aware of your surroundings. But it's different in a match - as someone said - it should be about the players skill with guns. I just hope 0.4 comes out soon so I can get another line in my sig: [FMJ]DomSpy killed {ULK}SexyB. (Helicopter)
-
B - that's the problem - you can hear them all the time and by the time you realise how loud it is, you're dead. It's especially hard when there are 3 of them - you can't defend against 3. To be honest, I'm sick of gangs doing the opposite to what you're saying (ie insiting on rules because they are good at something). With TmM it's the 3-round TDM, for ULK it's the helikills. I don't see the difference B. You've stopped playing TmM because they insist on that format. What's the difference between that and you insiting on helikills? When you play FMJ, we usually only insist on Spas not being used, everything else is negotiable. That's an MTA-wide agreement, I think you will admit. Other gangs have used things because they were not explicitly disallowed. KFC, for example, abused glitches, which has forced us to make sure that we instist on minimal glitching when we play them. Maybe we should insist on only 2 helikills per round with you? I've got a lot more to say. but I have to go out now. PS How about a nice game of chess B?
