I have found that in GTA3:MTA the fighting tends to be concentrated at Ammunation.

I was just wondering what the planned schedule for releasing the add-on SDK is (not the date but in relation to the client and server releases). I would love to know how much time I would have to code my ideas .

Well MrBump was the main driving force behind this when it started, but apart from a couple of matches at the very beginning, MrBumo (and consequently VCA) haven't been at all active since then. Also since he's now dead (erm - 'on holiday'), he can't deal with us revolutionaries who want the rules changing. So yeah - it's still going, but we're in a lull at the moment.

With all this talk of synchronisation, I was wondering that since it would require all of the sync information to be sent between the server and client, how much bandwidth will a Blue client or server consume? Obviously you can't say exactly, but what's the estimated b/w compared to 0.4?

This is great - maybe I should insult the MTA team more often because we've had more information about what the team is doing out of those last two posts than in the months since the Blue page went up.

Ditto. But I think this is just saying that there is a nice map being made ready to be used for multiplayer. Remember that without Blue you can't have multiplayer on a created map.

I think the term 'glitch' has been morphed in some people's heads into 'exploit'. People who consider crouching to be a glitch must consider jumping a glitch too - it does exactly the same thing - skips the recoil animation. The one thing that distinguishes them is that the effect on someone else's screen is different. The jumping glitch can't be exploited, whereas the crouch glitch can be and more often than not is.

Would you actually have to enter a Top Fun van? Surely you could go to a pink circle somewhere on the map and have the player model plonked somewhere inaccessible while they're driving/flying the little critters.

If it has to be changed from GTA3, why not change to VC Stunt as there are more bikes available and they're generally near the spawn points?
