::shrug:: my irc scripting skills are next to squat...i'll try and find the server, but people would say !stats and that all I saw, i typed it and it told me my stats, so i can only assume they somehow made it private, it was still in yellow text however

some servers run !stats to send a pm type deal instead of showing everyone...thats the best way, let them spam their own windows if thye really wanna lol

http://www.powerscripts.org has some good news, download manager, etc http://www.phpbb.com has excellent boards, free-php.net has some files and tutorials. It's really not all that hard to do if you are being hosted proffesionally, you will need extra tutorials if you are hosting yourself however

If I remember correctly not only did your friend cheat like mad, but he also had a rather foul mouth on him as well. My friends play on my computers all the time, and I've never had such a problem. But then it is possible because most are in BNS which is not only anti cheat, but we train to destroy them if need be...anyhow if it were one of MY friends acting in such a manner, id beat them and expell them from my home

no doubt, I used it for forum bulk emails, since it was near impossible to pick a good mail out of all the spam...which...aol still fails to block...but hey, no more annoying forum spam now lol

I just realized that a lot of games recently that SHOULD have been recognized went completely unnoticed by most. Disgaea: hour of darkness, i'm not even really an rpg player, but this game rules. Robot Alchemic Drive, screw gundam games, this shit makes you believe you are controlling a 100ton robot. While DDR is at an alltime high popularity in the US, many other bemani games go without hardly any fanbase. Beatmania is a dj simulation game, harder than hell but fun. Just curious if anyone else has some games they feel should have gotten more recognition. I'm sure i could list more but this virus spreading around tx has gotten my brain fried

some servers are equipped with the !stats script, which shows deaths, altho i'm not sure it shows total kills.

Nothing critical, possibly already mentioned, but i was playing with a friend, I parked a car in the mansion, we both got in and drove out, and he could see the inside of the mansion from the outside. We didn't try on other locations, but i'd assume it'd do the same on anything with a load point.

yeah MTA isn't like most game installs, it doesn't have the "install for all users" option, just keep installing it to the same folder on each acct :\

are you at a university or using dsl in apartments? everytime it fails to connect with that message it means my net has gone down. the entire map is open already in MTA as for your gamesaves, they end up in your "My Documents" folder as GTA saves or something along those lines. If you don't back that folder up your saves will be gone.

do you mean foward a port? This is done in your router settings, dependant on your router, belkins are at http://192.168.2.1 you also need the internal ip of the server

lol w2k3 shouldn't crash unless you set it up wrong, i mean, i run php, mysql, perl, and asp.net and mine never crashes lol...just my pos verizon internet who took too many clients in the area, now we battle for ips like an old fucking aol 56k server granted i've never tried a game server because i have squat for upstream, do they crash extremely often, or is it more due to cheaters?

a new bosnian clan showed up...obviously within the past few weeks, I killed them quite a few times even tho they were laggy as hell, and they bitch that i'm cheating... I explain :"look, you live 10's of thousands of miles away from the damn server...i live 25 miles from the server, lets think hard about this" "cheater" i jus gave up lmao, even if they made a server and banned me from it I'd of never gone to it anyway with that lag btw, to the bosnian clan: when i said you connected from bostonia, i was really hopped up on assload anti-flu meds, sorry lmfao (in the event they read this post)

as for the game mode, i've heard of it before to use mainly in gang wars, or practice bouts. dunno if i'd like it on a normal server tho. and as for gtatv, wouldn't that be a bit taxing on the upstream? It's bad enough even for some of us dsl people as is hehe
