Thats an excellent point, especially here recently, i can only assume it's due to the flood of new users to MTA that don't yet know the difference between cheating and skill. Thats why if i see people yelling "damn newb, don't you know anything" etc, I would never let them in BNS. While it can become tiring to explain lag a million times, by being persistant in the good treatment of newcomers we can help turn the community towards a more friendly first impression. I feel part of the reason a lot of people cheat is simply because they are looked down upon so much for being a "noob." I mean, for christs sakes, at one point everyone used the toilet for the first time...lmao, did your parents yell "you fucking noob, you missed! well, depends on what type of device it is, older ones had proprietary software which acted as drivers as well...thats how my rio was and its old app wouldn't run in 98mode, so i was boned until i found wmp could transfer to it

yeah, if the model calls for the wheel mod, and when it's not installed, the game crashes...i bet once u install it they almost all work

no need to even get a 9800 from what i've seen, i recently got a 9600 256mb pro for $150, and it runs everything at 60 fps lol...why spend 250 bucks more eh minus gta/mta of course, friggin crashes if it goes 45+ frames on all my systems, so i have to use frame limiter

A lot of servers have serveral admins now due to the fact that its impossible for one person to admin the whole time...unfortunately not all people who have admin status are fit to admin...your best bet is to jump on irc and talk to the main admin. which server were you in?

...update your video drivers...possibly upgrade to patch 1.1...sounds like hardware issue to me

stability of the core i believe should come first. as for the heli thing...mine turns the same speed either way...unless i haven't noticed lol

i don't see anytthing wrong with a game mode for it...many people would probably avoid it, but the mode would be funny for some friends to mess around with, altho i still say work on the new core would be priority hehe

you could be running 56k, this will get you to disconnect often...you could be running a strict firewall, in which case open port 2003.

well, does it say you are banned? What is the specific error you recieve. I find it hard to believe you'd be banned from everyserver in 10 seconds

Problem is, making a lan version that allows cheating, well, would obviously be a target for cheaters. I don't believe there are currently any plans to make mta support lan and internet differently.

Lagging, even a bit will get you called a cheater all the time...i experience this a lot recently with verizon screwing around with construction in the area, one hour i have a 45 ping, the next a 250, and people accuse me of cheating because they hit me once, then couldn't hit me a second later. I know that not only myself but my entire clan are anticheat. Many people jump on the hes cheating bandwagon even if they haven't met you. Just keep playing, if you're honestly not cheating, then just mark accusers off as inexperienced. IF kung had to use a flamethrower, i bet you were lagging, this would also explain your inability to hit him...
