I was thinking about starting a thread about this type of thing.. but it just blows your mind and noone really knows.. its beyond our capacity. You either need to believe in a god that has always existed, an infinite number of causes and effects (so there was never a beginning), or some other bizarre circumstance we can't possibly imagine. The polls pretty diverse btw.. interesting. I thought the money thing would catch a lot of people but rebel makes a very good point.. Jon - I see that very hard, at least to make people believe your theory. Okay as a custom of mine for these forums.. time for another odd poll. If given the opportunity, would you rather see into the past or future? Keep in mind there is no way you can look forward into the future and see the past through some technological time screen or something. PAST For the past you could see see how the universe started.. see many of the things that have gone unsolved that we know of. You can realize there is a God and follow him more faithfully than anyone... you might realize there was never a God and you might go and break the 10 commandments all the time without any fear of punishment by God. FUTURE For the future you may see your own future and be forewarned... you could see the new technology or perhaps cheat the stockmarket. You could even see our own demise and then the end of the universe. I Don't Wanna Know You might change your entire life if you see into the past or the future. The impact that your God may not exist or that you will be in a position in the future you do not like may devastate you. - - - so which would it be? For me, I would say the past, because the one question I cannot answer and must forever be amazed by is.. how did the universe start? Its beyond my capacity to believe infinite causes and effects are possible, that there must be a beginning. If theres not.. looking into the past will prove it. Also, I have a tendency to be atheist at times... so this would be a big booster for me in the religon department, if I knew 100% God existed without a doubt and I needed to worship.

Yes but yet some people still aren't getting it.. I guess they don't get the pm popup or something (I used to have that problem, even though I had notification on). Well, even though they say they did nothing, they certainly did do something because we don't just warn people without good reason.

Lots of people are confused either on what they are or what they do... if you break the rules and a mod or team member considers it a bad enough offense, you will get a warning (you will be pm'ed when you get the warning and it may contain a description if its not obvious what you did wrong). 3 warnings is just like California's 3 felony strikes rule, you get 3, you are automatically banned. Of course, it is still possible to ban on the spot but that only happens people on suicide runs.

Yes theres boats and planes and fighting etc, but read what I said again and you might read what I wrote in the right way. Its easy to believe a video if its shown flawless. Take GTAT as the prime example. To put it short: its the finished product that will amaze me.

yawn.. same ole same ole... oh look, someone tries to do what MTA team does! They show awesome pics and report incredible progress, everyone jump on the bandwagon of 'MTA is gonna get pwned'. Few months later... Nothing or something not even worth looking at. I have not yet seen 1 other mod that has come anywhere in the same ballpark as MTA on any level, so until I actually see one working and working well, I'm not even gonna consider it. You can walk the walk but can you talk the talk is what it all boils down to. So no mta vs the new mod war okay? It gets ugly (well someones not gonna listen anyway I know it but.. well what can ya do). Can't say much about kyeman, I think I might have caught one word with him on IRC since I've joined these forums (or before that). Never seen him come back and flame MTA team so he must be a reasonable smart person, so why start a war between old friends? The only wildcard about this one is that kyeman must have MTA knowledge he can use for his mod... and they should be credited for some info if he does indeed make something worthwhile (after making sucessful MP you must know how to make this thing work to some extent).
