Sand dune jumping.. watching some people already jumping, goes back to the 'would you do it too' saying. Well long story short I thought the sand was gonna be a soft landing, it was like concrete. Hmm what else.. I crawled into an old broken down barn and put my knee on a nail about 2 inches up and pushed down with all my body (cause i was crawling)... well since it was the flat head side first, i had an intresting feeling pulling that sob out, and getting a tetanus shot (with a huge needle that hurt like a bitch and gave me a huge bruise because I think the nurse did it wrong). Made sledding ramps.. hit the ground pretty hard but did it all day, later, I couldn't even sit down. Going #2 was like having a baby. Couldn't sit down for a few days (even with cushion padding it hurt bad)

Why not just do print screen button on keyboard and paste it into mspaint or photoshop I hosted a server for a while for us to play on, which alot of cheeseland was made on =). I was about to get a dedi to host a server on but i realised that the admining of dedicated servers for blockland is very limited. Mainly you have to be ingame to admin the server without the server console out infront of you. From there you can type out a command to chat or kick etc. Other thign was that on dedi servers you dont get to use the world editor!! So no more making people gigantic or tiny =( For hosting i just turned all the settings in networking up =\ seemed to work fine. Well, you could password it as 'mta' so only us fine folks can get in there. I think you can set people to moderator and they in turn can set people to groups and etc? I read theres groups you can set people in so they cant destroy other peoples blocks and stuff. Most servers I go on it gets choppy with 4 or so people. However there was this one server with 9 ppl (one being me) and it ran as smooth as glass. I don't know if they have better network settings or an uber connection or what.

hmm would be nice if we could get a dedicated server up, like mtas.. with privelleges set to let people destroy only their own blocks, and a few ppl with all abilities. EDIT: whats good settings for the network panel if you are gonna host? packet size, time to client/server.. etc.

er.. wait for blue. (okay wait for blue seriously) for now the closest you get it MTAMA, you could make a car the flag for example and you have to put it from one point to another and type somethin for it to check coords for example.

There are new ranks.. but on a much smaller scale, so people dont use the reward system as ambition to spam lol. For NORMAL people, it'll take a year or two to reach the top one. You shoulda seen the post rush to get 1000 when MTA BETA TESTER was the top rank.. lol

Well... no need for MTA. Perhaps if they are still doing this at that point, they will simply mod the online version, who knows. They aim to design a game that will work when they are gone, because they expect the team to eventually end somehow. Which of course it will, like all good things. If not work on that, work on GTA3, GTAVC, GTASA versions to make them 1.0 if they are not already. Sooner or later ya gotta get tired of trying to get this game to do what it wasn't meant to do Thinking of that, its so amazing that we can play it online to this extent. Its almost as if it was already made for online, yet it was made from scratch.

That was known ever since we knew they were not using a new engine. btw, I bet more than half of the GTA makers have at least tried MTA.

From my experience.. when it gets over 3 ppl it lags.. havent tried someone with other 2mb for a server though.

Well said eAi.. well said. I dont even think 0.3 was THAT great. It seems like one day someone here said 'hey remember 0.3? I loved it so much' then everyone remembered how there were some very annoying problems in 0.5 and that back then the gameplay was different.. and said... "Hey everyone, lets go on a back-to-0.3 nostalgia campaign."

That took me about 2 1/2 hours. Was a waste of time really It gets quicker when you realize how to work the buttons. Plus you can place a brick, and the print is still there for you to move, so click, move it 5 spaces click again... etc.

So you are basically saying MTA cant get any better than 0.3, that you think that is the BEST they can possibly do... well, no, Im positive that MTA Blue is going to smoke 0.3... I only know a tad more than the average guy, but still just by looking at what was told to everyone, you can see that the improvements put it on a level 0.3 cant even touch.

Damn, guess I am pretty fast. I tried 8-10 times altogether. Yea sometimes you get unlucky and get a word thats damn near impossible to type. If you get to level six, at that point it seemed they were all short enough to answer. At least as far as I got, I still died because you still you have to think as fast as possible. /me taps IJs
