Man we been at this since August... qa team certainly did play a big role of getting this release. Special thanks to ziron&jon for sorting models, jon&talidan for manuals and aeron for working on his mtama. Also everyone that took a couple hours to vote on 100-some maps so I could get a race map package together... anything else big i forgot? Well they certainly deserve credit of being noted good job.
HAHA! Doing last minute homework. Well, at least we can expect a good documentation.
Nah you gotta think of it the other way, we are getting it out asap
Well put. I'm tired of idiots trying to say 'this mod sucks play this guys mod'... why not just play both? I think its just a combo of grievances against this mod or the people who play it and the ability now to choose something else, that makes people into fanboys of certain mods.
People are getting fed up the objective is to release whats been made, feature locked, and then we'll go on testing and suggesting new stuff while you enjoy whats been accomplished already. That sounds like a big thing to implement, it would take to much time for release 1.
Right now its just finishing touches and final checks mostly... it'll be out soon I think. Its a good idea though.
The problem comes when people attempt to take matters into their own hands in ANY form no matter how polite... because the answer from the other person is always going to be piss off. If we see authors of topics counter-flaming its a pretty good sign that we can just lock it because they don't follow the rules either.
In short: if theres a problem you tell us. Not confront the abusive poster with a post demanding them stop (only giving them more incentive not to stop) or flame them which turns the thread into an argument.
lol
btw that fella that said the slums thing, that was interesting it is true. Except everyone is patiently waiting and they will be back when the releases finally come We'll never be totally without assholes though some never change and still new people usually show up and are temporarily assholes (fun fact: I for instance was a ban evader in my first days lol).
good topic...
Pretty sure it was Wolfenstien then Command and Conquer came along. Thats still pretty much my favorite game (okay maybe multitheftauto is now).
Ppl aren't very fair at all. First they want it fast then they say "god its so buggy take your time next time". Now they are having us test it extensively and people are getting impatient (especially the hardcore deathmatch people who wont even give it a chance). Yea thats right you've been heard but you've also been answered before so its just going over old ground. The race mod is coming first. Look towards gtarumble if you want something like that.
That said the community is never going to die unless the team stops developing stuff. So don't worry about it... mtasa is amazing and I'm sure it will get more coverage than seen before. I haven't really seen anybody leave anyways, they are all just waiting patiently.
Shouldn't even bother replying to a complaint thats been filed a 1,000 times besides KungFu pretty much nailed it. I think patience is running short though.
That WAS the idea but you see what happens on the honor system.
As for the warez well... that doesn't deserve the title of warez of course I bought my GTAs when I got a computer for them (honest!)
Adding onto error... mtasa is supposed to be more of software development kit, meaning you can make your own mods. In other words from what I've always understood its just gonna be vanilla race or deathmatch that mta makes. They will probably help people making great mods though.
