The save problem is automatically generated to be annoying and make the user save the map, because the game can crash or the map editor can mess up automatically, so it's highly recommended that you save it when it's new. If it's already saved, it shouldn't ask. The other problem: try, when you're on Map Editor, type refresh in F8, then copy & paste what does it say here with tags.
