  2. Its probably a debug message we left in. Don't remember it though. eAi
  3. You could do it by animating the tire's txd, wouldn't be ideal though.
  4. Yeah thats happening because the webserver that gets reported to is rather overloaded (its running off an access database ffs) and JET is dodgy at best. We've got enough error reports anyway (78,000), I just haven't got around to switching them off. eAi
  5. I propose we ban ls and Is as they look too similar.
  6. If you rename it, ensure to change it from .asi - vc loads all .asi files it finds.
  7. Its possible at some point we will release 0.5's source code, but I think its unlikely. Its really not in any state worth releasing, it would take someone months to work out what the hell was going on in it. This is why we're "moving on" and not too keen to work on the old core. We believe that blue will offer programmers to do all they want with MTA, and concequently, releasing an old piece of source code would be redundant. eAi

    Admin+

The Admin+ interface isn't open source, and we don't support any 3rd party projects that use Admin+. You're welcome to investigate it yourself though. eAi
  9. The development time thats gone into Blue - almost a year and a half - means that its a pretty substantial product, and we're trying to make it support all the things people have dreamed of since they first heard of MTA (and were inevitably dissapointed by its current release). Concequently, we believe that Blue is probably flexible enough for us to build on it for many years to come, unlike the current core which has grown too big for its (metaphorical) boots. That clearly means that we plan to release multiple releases based on blue. I supose change-wise, blue will be final for MTA, we won't start on a new core, the ammount of time invested in blue wouldn't make that practical, so whatever is release with blue will exist in all future versions (at least in principle). eAi
  10. so few members, they may be little but thats rather irrelevant on the internet
  11. I think this thread has run its course. Locked

    MTAVC v0.5 error

Try uninstalling and reinstalling MTA 0.5... might work.
  13. The ability to read is amazing... and often rather lacking.
  14. Perhaps you should play MTA before offering suggestions?
  15. Maybe if I'm bored sometime, I'll knock up a quick randomizer/song chooser, or somthing similar eAi
  16. We might consider it for Blue, but tbh even then it'll be very low priority.
  17. We use IRC to communicate as a team, so logging off IRC would be counterproductive. I spend almost every waking minute working on MTA as it is.
  18. Whats the problem?
  19. We haven't said we've disabled pausing in blue, but we will do somthing about it.
  20. The damage is calculated client side, so if you're paused you can't be hurt, and concequently are invincible.
  21. You suggested that it'd be hackable... I'm not sure how this could be the case... Just have a paypal account, when the email arrives saying its been paid just add it to a database automatically. I think if we can make MTA, a simple email checker isn't going to tax us too much Anyway, as I've stated over and over again, this isn't necessarily ever going to be implemented, just discussing the possibilities.
  22. I agree, its not perfect, but as I've said, MTA would always be free, there could just be some servers that you need to be a paid member to join... that way people who are more serious about MTA, and not cheaters can play without worrying so much about cheaters.eAi
  23. People seem to missunderstand. They wouldn't have to pay for MTA. It'd be up to the server owner if it was "secure" or not. Imagine someone runs a server, and says "if you pay me $1 I'll let you play on it"... thats all it would be, but centralised. I'm not suggesting for one minute we'd ever do this though. I think you missunderstand. This isn't a plan to tax people who buy R*'s games, its a possible way to reduce cheating by making bans cost somthing. It would clearly have to be backed with a resilliant and reliable anti-cheat, not admin's judgement. Where the money goes is irrelevant - charity probably.Other games stop cheaters by making them pay - pretty much all other online games cost money afterall. eAi
