Does the issue happen in single player? On every server?

To fix your audio output, look in your system tray for a brown speaker icon. Double click it. There should be something like "Device advanced settings" somewhere. Click that and there should be some sort of setting you can toggle to fix your headphone output. I can't remember it off the top of my head. Could you provide another dxdiag log? Does your issue happen on all servers? If it does, try reinstalling GTA.

As far as I know there is no way to revert back to 1.0.4 r2484, unless you build the client yourself from source maybe. To possibly solve your 1.0.5 issue, try installing the latest DirectX runtimes and provide a dxdiag report.
