  1. Check in your GTA San Andreas folder for a D3D9.dll. If there is one, delete it and try again.
  2. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=24428 viewtopic.php?f=15&t=28777
  3. It probably could be removed, but it's not up to me, and I'm not exactly sure why it still exists in the current version.
  4. I have not received a PM yet (about 2 hours after your post).
  5. Check in your GTA San Andreas installation directory for a D3D9.dll. If one is present, delete it. 7. I went through every topic in the news subforum and fixed every broken link and image to the best of my ability. SugarD-x and I have been going through every website on the web archive and doing our best to restore every broken image and link there, too, and also making some of the smaller pages HTML compliant. We're not quite done yet though. Slothman's MTA comics are a fun read!
  8. Okay. If none of the driver updates fix the problem, revert to the last released version by reinstalling from the homepage, and turn off nightly update messages by changing Settings -> Advanced -> Updates to Default.
  9. Try installing: Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes DirectX runtimes Graphics driver Audio driver Ethernet driver
  10. Delete the gta_sa.set file located in the GTA San Andreas User Files in your Documents folder/library (Windows Vista or 7) or My Documents directory (Windows XP) Topic moved to Client support.
  11. Isn't this already in the files archive?
  12. Hmm, so Intel's SpeedStep causes this issue? I guess that could make sense on a laptop. Good job on figuring it out!
  13. If you obtained your drivers from the MSI website, the following are outdated and you should install the newer ones that I posted: Realtek HD Audio Realtek Card Reader Realtek LAN Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN Of course, none of those are likely to resolve your issue. Also, you should be aware of the Sandy Bridge chipset recall.
  14. The Realtek HD Audio driver I linked to is definitely newer, as is the Ethernet controller probably. If you would give me the driver version listed in Device Manager of the following: Any Intel system device under System devices, and of Intel Management Engine Interface The Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN device and the Realtek device under Network adapters The Intel storage controller under IDE/ATA storage controllers Also try updating DirectX runtimes if you haven't yet.
  15. Please install the following: Realtek HD Audio Driver R2.57 Intel Chipset driver Intel Rapid Storage Technology Storage Driver Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN driver Realtek 8111E PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet controller driver (do a Repair installation if options for Repair/Uninstall show up after running the setup program) Intel Management Engine Interface driver Realtek Card Reader driver Quite a list there.
