    MTA Crashing

Since your single player is crashing, try reinstalling GTA:SA first.

    MTA Problem

If there is no graphics driver provided in Windows Update, I believe you're out of luck, as your graphics card is too old and slow. If you really would like to play GTA:SA/MTA:SA on this laptop, your only option is to run Windows XP. Sorry.

    MTA Problem

Delete the gta_sa.set file located in the GTA San Andreas User Files in your Documents folder/library (Windows Vista and 7 users) or My Documents directory (Windows XP users) Check in your GTA San Andreas installation directory for a D3D9.dll. If one is present, delete it. Install the latest patch of MTA:SA Install the latest DirectX runtimes In addition, your laptop's graphics card is very slow and ancient. Try installing this driver and see if GTA:SA will launch. If it doesn't, your laptop is simply too dated to play even GTA:SA single player, sorry.
  6. I believe there are some gamepad settings in MTA's options somewhere, be sure to bind them properly.
  7. You can update the following: Southbridge driver (pick the top one, South Bridge Driver) Audio driver Ethernet driver (pick Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1457675) and do a Repair install if prompted) NEC USB3 driver If you want, you can update your system BIOS with this if it is not version 2.50 (check using AIDA64).
  8. Well, the graphics driver is 2 months newer than the one you currently have installed, so perhaps install that. And uh, you're welcome, haha.
  9. Try installing: Graphics driver Latest DirectX runtimes Latest 1.1 nightly Latest 1.1 data files and latest 1.1 resources
  10. Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  11. I assume you are referring to that impostor who claimed he was part of MTAQA. It's a possibility, but that guy seemed didn't really seem like he knew what he was doing.

    Internet lag!

If a user is using XP SP2 or newer, it's generally not needed to install any "processor drivers", such as AMD's Dual Core Optimizer. DragoN123, could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.
  13. Please do not use any "registry boosters", they generally do more harm than good. Install this graphics driver and ensure that there is no D3D9.dll in your GTA3 directory. Also try running the DirectX runtime web installer once more. I think you're trying to simply run GTA3 single player without any version of MTA. I've moved this to the "General" subforum, as a result. Do you have the Steam version of GTA3?
  14. What is this nonsense? Locked.
  15. No issue here on latest Chrome dev build (but I rarely log out). Try clearing your cookies and be sure the "remember me" checkbox is ... well, checked.
  16. Does GTA:SA work fine in single-player? Try installing the following: Install the latest patch of MTA:SA Install the latest DirectX runtimes
