You don't actually have to 'register' to play the game.

weapon.dat and weapon.mta are files in the /gta/data/ directory. The FAQ says to take a backup (copy and paste them somewhere else, on the desktop or whatever) just after you install. Then if you get this error, you can copy back the original files and it should work again. However for us to help you more, please take note of the following:
-
With the script, just hit CTRL+R twice in mIRC and it should bring up the script editor on the Remote window, then just go File->Load and load mta.mrc there. As for your connection timeouts, you'll need to add the ports on your router as well.

There IS nothing else, unless you'd like to make your own, which I'm sure is far more complicated. Obviously you haven't fully read the manual, since it is very simple to set up and you haven't managed to do it.

1. You cannot type in your password to admin in the server, that password is ONLY for using the admin tool, outside of the game. 2. You cannot just "turn on" scripts because they are not an internal part of the game. For scripts to run you need a seperate program called MTAmA. You can find this here: http://home.deds.nl/~aeron/ After you've got that loaded, THEN you can load scripts into it for your server. 3. There's no reason why connecting with remote admin should kill mtaserver.exe, you aren't clicking on the "shutdown" button are you?

I have a good script, add me on msn if you want me to send you it.

It won't work with ABSOLUTELY ANY mods except modified textures in gta3.img so you'll need to do a reinstall.
-
Good luck in getting help after that comment.

How fast is your upstream bitrate, and how far away do your 10 friends live?
-
I asked for this a while ago, it would be brilliant to have a "ghost mode" in the game but the developers declined. Maybe it will be possible with the SDK when/if it's released, I'd sure play it.

Do a clean install of GTA and DON'T use a no-cd crack.

No retard, he wants the downgrader. You can find it here: http://www.forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15151

"I'm not English, I'm Jewish." I know Jewish people in England. Also, posting every half an hour telling people to hurry up and help you isn't actually going to get you help any quicker, actually it's going to get you posts like this. And because you're so impatient, I'm not going to tell you how to set the server up. If you don't know how to set a server up, I wouldn't recommend you trying it either because you're not smart enough. And if you can't even where to find the download (which is actually on the Home page), I suggest you stay away from even trying to install it.

You can't edit other peoples server configs lol.
-
So why are you asking how to edit the server configuration file?

Is the train forced to the cinematic view still? It would be awesome if you could get the same view from trains as you could with the cars (above and behind). Looking good though. BTW, who is RAF?
-
Do you have any other mods installed like car mods, texture mods etc? MTA won't work if you do.
-
Yes. How long ago did you buy the game? It's possible you have bought the 2nd version of the game, which is imcompatible with MTA because of changes that R* have made to it. However, there is an exe downgrader in this section somewhere (pinned I think) which you can use.

There are an unsurprising amount of people who post the same problem on this board and they don't realise they actually have to have GTASA installed. And your summary of the problem wasn't exactly detailed..."the second time I get an error"...well telling us what the error was would probably have helped a great deal since there's actually NOTHING we can do about "I get an error".

To edit mtaserver.conf you just need to open it in Wordpad or Notepad (Windows) or Nano or a similar editor (Linux) and change what you want. Suspected trainer usage pretty much means the game thinks you're trying to cheat, either because you have a trainer running or because you've got another application running which contains one of the blacklisted words (hack, cheat, mod etc) and MTA picks up on it. You can minimize this by closing everything else which you have running, especially things like MSN Messenger and web browsers (pages like imageshack can trigger it).

Really retarded question, do you actually have Grand Theft Auto San Andreas installed?
-
Yes, you need mIRC which is what MTAmA runs off. You can get it for free from http://www.mirc.com Making ingame !commands is not as easy as you may think, but if you look over in the Add-ons section you will get a lot help there from people like Aeron, Tommis and probably Oli if he isn't too busy working on MTASA Deathmatch
-
I think this is in GRS, but when I had it enabled on my stunt server (which was really popular), it was an overused command and frequently crashed the mirc which was hosting it, so I disabled it. It is a very CPU intensive script.
-
I leaked the software, that's why they didn't pick me

Try not to turn your modem off or reconnect to the Internet as little as possible. You could try contacting your ISP to ask them to assign you a static IP address, but this will no doubt cost you money.
