The Win98 Compatibility mode in Win XP solves some problems but causes even more. You become invisible to other players and you can't kill anyone, your actions are not registered. Therefore do not play in this mode since you do not contribute to gameplat and may experience some problems 2 things happen : you crash more now ; just restart the game the textures load very slow : give it time This is for the GTA-VC.exe : it has to be run in windows XP without compatibility mode enabled. The client may still be ran in Win98 mode but we recommend trying it without coomp mode and if you can't get it without try it in Win2000 mode

These things have a huge potential. I like Kill SoRat, something we should do, one or 2 bankrobbers and the rest cops in helicopters and with cars chasing them down

when u install u need to allow the installer to place the shortcuts in the start menu

xpgamer, look around (it seems you ask questions without searching for the anbswer) U need to install the shortcuts in your start llenu in order to install all giles, there is a problem in the installer software

We will start at 0.3.5 in the next days. It will have the same features as 0.3b with some extras and a lot of improvements. All we will do is implement support for GTA3 in our current client codenamed "core 0.3" so you will get an an almost lagfree game with far less bugs

ur error is explained there u fucking idiot, can't u read : Unhandled Exceptioon Error and if you got a different problem report it via the error reporting form as is explained in the readme of that section

i beleive you read the readme, but you didn't take the litle effort to check the bugs and problems section for MTA:VC on this forum. Only one problem in it and that's it! Second : we told every1 : USE THE ERROR FORM ON THE SITE

We always said : no release dates and while everyone was speculating about the release of MTA:VC 0.1 (some say days other say months) we just worked at a good pase. And then all of a sudden : release. Someone came on IRC (nnever heard of that guy before ) and gave the link for download, we haden't even made a newspost yet. It was fun for us to watch and i think we took a lot of people by surprise. The release date was placed on august forst for about a week but we didn't know if we could make it. So also for the future : we will give no release dates, it's safe for us, and it's fun for us to watch you guys discussig it

MTA is not designed to work with other mods yet

We may have another solution for unhandled ... : Make sure you select the correct version in the upper right of the client and that VC is set in english! if you want to use another language, copy all the files from the TEXT folder to the MTA folder with exception of american.gxt. This will be buggy since not all texts will show, but it will work!

Problem : Whenever a new game is started in Vice City the game crashes and windowd shows me a window which states : Unhandled Exception Error Final Solution : Make sure you have a clean install of GTA:VC and try running both client and GTA in compatibility mode for Windows 98, to do this locate the exe file from MTA and GTAVC, right click on them and go to properties, go to the tab compatibility and check the first checkbox,, now choose Windows98/Me from the dropdown list and press OK Also make sure your VC is set to the english language since there are no gxt files for other languages yet!

August first midnight GMT, the end of a long day but we just made it, packaging complete and upload in progress. The best day for GTA MP ever with the release of GTAt 0.3, GGM 0.2 and MTA:VC in 1 day. And then ppl say we don't work, the longest day of my life, woke up 21 hours ago to go to work, took have a day of for the release ans have been working 12h straight for the release today
