a moderator/admin abusing power?

i would like to know why some moderator/admin is editing my sig. i have http://www.gtat.org as website, and some fool changed it to http://www.gta-tournament.tk (the fake one), stop it

well mrbump told me that i shouldn't double post, even if my previous post was old, so (i disagreed, because i wanted to keep ppl updated about gtat, but i don't make the rules).

at least this time i got a PM with a reason. that's a lot better than 3 posts that got deleted without a reason and an ip ban ( the moderator/admin who did that must have edited my sig as well ).

well i don't care as long as it is within the rules, but changing sig(banning, deleting 3 posts without giving a reason) isn't. this is a form of abuse, probably the same reason why you lost your moderator rights?

I've seen worse. On another forum, one of the admins put gay porn in a user's sig and then locked it so that they couldn't change it.

It's difficult to justify the reasons why your posts were deleted without seeing the actual posts, but they must have been deleted for a reason.

P.S. I didn't change your sig and I don't recall deleting any of your posts.

i'm not accusing ransom, i was saying that he probably lost his rights due to the same thing he did, as the unknown moderator/admin did to me a few times(abuse power), not saying that he is the one who abused his power in this case(editing my sig, banning ip, deleting 3 posts). but you're saying that ransom quit by himself, which means i'm wrong(that's ok, i'll leave it for what it is).

EDIT: jon offcourse you didn't do it, you're a good moderator and you don't abuse power. you even unbanned me, thanks for that anyway.

It could have been another user that was banned. There was a bit of embarrassment the other day in the mod forum when it was revealed that a rather abusive member had exactly the same IP as me. I think it was an ISP screw-up. My IP seems to have changed now. So that could explain why your IP was banned without a warning.

still the posts that got deleted for an unknown reason was a form of abuse(it happened 3 times within a few minutes). but the weird thing is, the ip ban was added right after all 3 posts got deleted. that's why i thought that was abuse as well in the first place.

by the way: editing my sig ain't the worst, it's just a part of the abuse case. mad boy you may think it's funny, i don't. i want to provide correct links to other multiplayer mods in my signature, not some stupid old joke. i want to give some small but correct info.'

i remember that my sig was changed before, so the link went from http://www.gtat.org to http://www.gtat.com.

isn't there a sort of log file? to check who made all those changes.

np that conclusion is easy to make. I quit for nothing more complicated than the lack of respect from almost all directions, not for commiting treason or something.

I have gotten posts deleted, and changed my sig, and i have 1 warning, and i have never got a pm about why those things happend, that's not right. On other forums sends a PM about what has happend and why after they do somthing like giving someone a warning so the one knows why.

I whould like to know what forum that might been? I havn't seen that though i've been banned without reasons or PM's only in this forum, other forums i get a mail. Been banned like 3-4 times and i havn't gotten any PMs or Emails .

I don't control my moderators. Most of the time they do a decent job. I don't have systems installed to see who bans who and who gives what warning. Most of the time that stuff gets reported into a special threat in the mods section.

Well it whould been better if they sent a email you know maybe you can tell them that, others in this thread seems to think so too.

Well some mod, has made wrong then cause he sure didn't contact me when i got this warning, i have only 2 PMs nothing are about warning, 1 is about thread delecting but i knew who delected my thread but he didn't contact me so i did to him then he told me why, he also did wrong he should contacted me with why he removed it.
