I'm getting this message: The avatar filetype must be .jpg, .gif or .png My avatar is a .png, 90 x 100 pixels, and 18.2KB I think this happened the last time I tried to upload it too, which is why I had it hosted.

The off-site linking works again Not strictly speaking, you can provide the forum with a remote location where it will then get the file, or you can upload direct from your machine. In both cases the forum itself holds and hosts the image.
